anyways, just make sure you will only buy if the seller ships it w/. a confirmation number, and make sure you pay w. paypal just incase the seller flakes, you can always file a claim.

Buying online is always a gamble, but if you take the appropriate precautions, such as those impact listed, you take out a lot of the risk.

So seeing as how there are roughly 100 million billion bands playing the Fest, all in different venues, its a given that people will have to make choices on who they see. What bands are on everybody's short list of bands they absolutely MUST see while there?

A friend and I are starting to book shows at a place in Moreno Valley called Cheers. Let me know if you're interested in playing a show. Our main nights are Fridays and Wednesdays. Also, touring bands get in touch and we'll get you a show. We're taking over the reigns from our good friend Party Marty who just recently decided to up and move to Austin, Tx. He had been booking shows in the area for a few years, so there is a fairly respectable built in crowd at these shows, we're not just 'starting from scratch' and struggling to build a crowd.

My best guess is the alternator as well. However, it could also be a lot worse. I had a truck die on me once in the middle of the road. I was just driving along and suddenly it just shut itself down. Turns out it was the automatic transmission that went out and somehow that shut the truck down.

Dominos is OK. If I'm going to order chain pizza I prefer Papa Johns.

I agree, this whole shirt thing with the preorders is getting really fucking stupid. I own plenty of band shirts and don't need anymore. If I do want one, I'll buy it at the show. Ugh.

Down in the Dumps should be playing the Fest (and not just the pre-Fest show in Tampa or a house show).

Murder City Devils! Seriously, they're almost a perfect candidate for a discography box set. They put out 3 full lengths (which are all out of print and go for stupid amounts of money on ebay), a handful of 7"s which could probably be loaded onto a fourth LP, and then they put out a 10" EP. Its enough material to be worth while, but not so much that it would be some 10xLP that costs $150+

also i don't think the 200 colored is accurate, i have yet to see a black record

They're all colored vinyl, but the preorders got their own color (and its out of 245). There are three other colors pressed (one for No Idea/Green Hell, one for the European tour, and one for the UK tour). For anyone that starts complaining that they were "duped" and should have just waited to buy it from No Idea for a couple bucks cheaper and still get colored vinyl, the No Idea/Green Hell color is the most common color (/450 IIRC).
