No matter how popular they are 95% of the people who would see it would have no idea what it is or what it relates to. if the ones that do want to think i'm a trend follower and not someone that's been listening to the band for nearly ten years and has some extremely fond memories of the music, the live shows, and the comraderie i've shared with other fans can go fuck themselves. if it wasn't for the alkaline trio, i might not have been in the relationship i've been in for nearly seven years. for that reason alone i'm incredibly grateful to them, never mind the fact that i love pretty much everything they've ever done.

i feel sorry for people who constantly worry about what other people will think of the decisions they make. that must not leave a lot of time for living your life.

That was the problem....heh. My girlfriend and I changed the pads last year. She's just better at it than I am. But the rotors warped. So I basically just had them redo it all so it was good to go for a while. At least I can stop again, but I guess I just needed to bitch a little bit and get it off my chest.

All you needed to do was head down to Pep Boys/Auto Zone, etc. and pick up a new set of rotors for your vehicle and put them back on. Its only a couple more steps after changing your brake pads.

ALWAYS change your brakes at the first sign of squeeking. When you change your pads, yank the rotors off and take them to Pep Boys to have them turned. It costs ~$8 per rotor. A full brake job ends up costing less than $60 vs. $300+ at some shop.

I've heard of people putting their cell phones in microwaves in order to damage it in a not so obvious way so as to get a replacement. I don't know if that will work for you.

I'm sure with a little creative googling you could find a good way to kill an iPod that won't void the warranty.

I don't know if I missed this (I didn't pay too much attention to the iPod Touch after seeing how little it holds)... is the iPod Touch's internet capability exactly the same as the iPhone (just without phone capabilities)? If so, is there a monthly fee for the net capabilities or do you just connect to free Wi-Fi hotspots and such?

Thats pretty rad, regardless of format. Normally I'd assume #1/XXX to be given to a friend/relative of the artist or something like that.
