beat ME 2 today. it was pretty good, not best game though i'd say. top 10 for sure. Mordin made the game. next up, i'm either going for 1550 in Fallout 3, trying to finish Crackdown or Just Cause, or starting Deadspace or Bayonetta.

i think the caps may lose. president's trophy teams always seem to.

Colbert sucks anymore. and Daily Show's went downhill in the last couple years as well. probably will be watching Conan. FX would have been a better fit for him though i think. will the show be edited at all? i know some channel's don't edit their stuff after 10/11PM, which always pisses me off that adult swim still does.

i'm not seeing what the huge deal with ME2 is so far. the took away about all the RPG elements and the old weapon system, replaced it with a squad based 3rd person shooter, stupid clips which make no sense after the first games' system, and the scanning planets is fucking horrible. i'd much rather drive around and find the stuff like in the first game.

gamestop was having some kind of sale yesterday. picked up bayonetta still sealed for $40 and blazblue sealed for $20. i was quite happy.

beat mass effect. do achievements carry over, like the 150 sniper kills? i probably had 60, i really don't want to start again from scratch. also, i got the soldier achievement, but not the asari achievement, which kinda pissed me off. must have been 1 or 2 short for her.

i don't see the huge deal with mass effect... i'mabout finished with 1 and not digging it as much as most people. Bioshock 1 and 2 were both better IMO, so was l4d, orange box, and a few others.

i've been playing it. not a lot of strategy, and kinda takes a while to level up. it's fun though, i need to get back to playing it more.

i think race has played a lot into it also. when bush and even clinton were in power, these right wing wackos were mostly underground until they did something stupid (OK City, Ruby Ridge, etc). now that there's a black president, they have their own 24 hr news network that is a "tea party" cheerleader and tons of documented racists and radicals in that movement. plus my parents are repubs, and the shit you see get emailed to them is just disturbing by their right wing friends.

it's a gimmick game though, you could put it on mars and it would probably sell out. not really a good way of evaluating, say, hartford or winnipeg or even kansas city. plus most teams sell out their first couple seasons anyways, then the novelty wears off. it's that way from the pros all the way through the minors it seems.

i think it's a terrible idea about the all star game. they're stupid anyways and should be done away with. MLB, NHL, NBA, and NFL all should be done away with, but MLB is the least terrible of all of those.

there was something like 1.5 million made if i remember correctly, and 4m of superman #1. so with that many there's a decent chance of one getting forgotten or stashed somewhere. still though, it's incredible.

that's why i said worth it. it's amazing that one survived in that quality.
