I can't believe At The Drive In - Acrobatic Tenement hasn't been mentioned yet. That and El Gran Orgo. Pretty sure they'd both qualify since its pretty fucking clear the Mars Volta guys don't want it happening. Same reason the rumored ATDI reunion sounds like bullshit to me. Also would love Black Lungs - Send Flowers myself. Sucks Wade doesn't want to. EDIT: Fuck me. I read 10 minutes after this post that the ATDI reunion IS actually happening.

Yeah I think most people would just use this app or popsike to make sure they're not getting ripped off.

I have this app but I swear I didn't pay anything for it. Real weird. Anyway it's pretty much like popsike except not as good. It seems to get slightly less results.

Hahaha holy shit I just got Cancer Bats - Hail Destroyer on clear vinyl for $5. Bought it from Reckless recs online store. Said it was LP but I figured it was supposed to be the CD which I wanted anyway so added it to my order. Now it just got here and it actually IS the vinyl version. Hell yes. I'm from the same city as the Hilltop Hoods (rap group) and I could've gotten several copies of their record "Back Once Again" for $10. It now sells between $200 minimum and $1000. I was only 13-14 when I could've gotten them but still, it really bugs me. On a personal note the one time I've seen Jebediah's "Slightly Odway" on ebay I forgot about it ending somehow and it sold for $80 when I was willing to go way higher. Fuck.

MTS might not be doing anything illegal but as I've mentioned before in here they're skating close to breaking some of Visa and Mastercards rules for merchants. It's gotten worse too since now apparently there's no release date at all and they've stopped responding to questions.

This. Cedric owns. Omar pisses me off sometimes. I mean I actually do love almost everything the guy has done but he's kind of a dick. :-/ Allegedly the reason Amputechture's drums have been mixed down and are less prominent than on say, Deloused, is because Omar was pissed at Jon Theodore at the time. This was probably just a story made up due to Theodore leaving/being kicked out but I still find it believable/really funny.

Amoeba's online store is awesome. Bought a bunch of rare stuff from them and they were super helpful. Reckless are also great, however if you're ordering from overseas they won't tell you how much shipping costs you UNTIL they charge you. They estimate it after you make your order and then just charge you whatever it costs. It'll just appear out of nowhere. So although they're great, this part is pretty shit.

I would love this if it happened. Not sure how it would though with Sparta just getting back together and TMV and the ORL group doing a million things.

Reading up on it apparently they can charge as soon as you order as long as you agree to it at the time. I assume they have something that says they'll charge you and you agree to it on the site. Although with delays (this is for Australia though so not sure if applies to this) technically the merchant has to advise you of any and all delays (especially if a set release date comes and it's not being shipped) and actually get your consent for the delay (in e-mail etc.) otherwise they must refund you. EDIT: Uh... I actually looked at the MTS site and I can't actually see on the TOYPAJ page where it even says it's a pre-order.

Serious question about all this: Were people who've ordered with Visa/Mastercard way back when it was announced been charged? Because I was just reading up on how that's actually against Visa & Mastercard's rules (charging way in advance for pre-orders).

I like how even in that update there's no apology or anything. Sounds kind of dickish actually with the whole "No-one is forcing you" attitude. I feel bad actually in that I kind of hope this keeps getting delayed and delayed just for the drama it causes. It's pretty funny but I feel bad for you poor dudes on here. Also it's pretty hilarious that he says it's shipping tomorrow maybe but then says the final layout isn't approved. What a label!
