Nope. So far from what I have been reading over at ETS and the NIN boards, people have been getting random #s. Nothing to do with what order they ordered. Mine is #2775 and I ordered the minute they went up. #2862 for me. I'm actually not surprised at all it hasn't sold out seeing as how it's so expensive and it's not actual NIN. A lot of people seem put off by his solo stuff for some reason.

As everyone has said, probably wait a bit longer. Also for some reason on discogs a lot of sellers don't mark as sent/give shipping confirmation so that part isn't unusual.

Definitely agree with this. Should've been around $200 I feel. Also to you guys that don't have yours yet, I e-mailed Sandbag (ordered from UK site) around a week or two ago and bugged them asking about it. Maybe that helped me get mine sent out quicker?

i thought these were bootlegs.... ??? glad to hear they are official too. If you check the Tool vinyl buyers guide mentioned (specifically here) you'll see they're listed as official promos. So not massive number releases necessarily (5000 for some though), but official nevertheless. A few different versions of some of them too.

Yup, you're correct in that both Salival and 10,000 Days are boots (they never had official releases). Discogs seems to have a good list of all the bootlegs: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Tool+%282%29#t=Unofficial_All&q=&p=1 Official release wise there's also Stinkfist, Sober, Cesaro Summability, Selections From Aenima and Prison Sex that haven't been mentioned. Also yeah, Opiate and Undertow were repressed in like 2006? I think and are pretty readily available because of it which is nice.

Slaughterhouse 5 is the best intro to Vonnegut book, or Welcome To The Monkey House (since it's short stories). You really should read as much as possible by him though. Everything he ever wrote was amazing in it's own way.

Definitely this. I actually really really dislike Against Me! as a band, but I have a newfound respect for Laura because of this. Would be amazingly hard to do, especially coming out publically like that.

Got mine today! This really is an amazing set. Not sure if $300 amazing still, but def one of the best sets I've ever seen. One thing the many pics don't show is that the plastic outer casing is very thick and protective and the snow/cloudy effect on the casing looks really cool in person. The art and presentation for this release is just incredibly well done.

I think Banquet took it down after they sent people that e-mail I posted. It was up though, and I bought one. They obviously have some confusion as to what they're getting, and also mentioned they're increasing the price from what was originally up (but will honour original orders prices). EDIT: Oh wait, I see what you mean. I refreshed the page and that's a bit different from before. Seems they still might think the UK is getting a different colour. Weird. To answer your question, don't think it's been up though.

i think the reason why so many people got it here from VC is cause we figured out how to get around the glitch that made it so NO ONE could order one. once VC figured out the gift card trick, people were able to put in orders, and it stayed up cause pretty much if you hadnt read on vc how to get around it, you wouldnt have been able to place an order. it was up for hours before it sold out, i think the first few hours though no orders were placed. I also reckon most of the 1000 were put online in the first place.

I honestly understand his gripe with the overall mix and as long as he's cool about it he could actually really help it. It is incredibly stiff and doesn't really suit the band's style that well but of course, that is the mix that I know and I would be just as happy having the LP with that mix as I would having an even better mix but I would not be cool having a ridiculous Amputechture'd mix. I think he COULD make it better. He has it in him but I don't know that he won't mess it up. I thought you were referencing Amputechture with your post and I'm still pissed about what he did with that. With RoC he said something about he liked the pre-mix version better. So hopefully if they did release a different version it would just mean he'd want to release a cleaned up version of the pre-mix rather than him fucking around and jerking himself off like with Amp.
