  1. Virgil never pressed it due to lack of interest. That pretty much says it all. ouch! That was also 8 years ago, granted their hype has died down since then but there's certainly been a big boost in vinyl sales.
  2. An "Antidote" pressing needs to happen!!!! I'd even been willing to organize and fund the pressing. As much as I hate to say it though I'd be a little concerned about recouping my expenses in a timely manor? Are there enough vinyl collectors, who are Gamits fans, to turn around a short run pressing in say 6 months? I have no idea!? Thoughts?
  3. No, I agree, definitely would prefer the rest of their catalog gets pressed before this ever would. A Small Price to Pay is my favorite release, personally. "Small Price To Pay" is pure fire. "Reset" is one of their best (if not THE best) Gamits song. They're one of the few bands that I can honestly say I enjoy every single solitary song they've written. Would love to help facilitate a pressing of their back catalog.
  4. Nice work, I'm a big Gamits fan as well. Endorsed By You does pop up on ebay now and again so it's not impossible to find. I'd love to see some of their other releases get the vinyl treatment before this gets a repress like "This Is My Boomstick" and "Small Price To Pay".
  5. That would be pretty crazy if I went to that extent. I bought a raw piece of aluminum rod and a friend of mine helped me cut it into shape on his metal lathe and then I polished it. I found this website on a DIY record weight and decided to give it a go http://www.soundfountain.com/amb/puck.html The site provides a lot of supporting information.
  6. That weight looks huge. How much does it weigh? Custom made it out of aluminum so it only weighs about 14 ounces.
  7. Got these at Dollar Tree for (you guessed it) a dollar!
  8. Now I'm just plain pissed!!!! I had to open a case because the seller wasn't responding to ebay messages. The guy finally responded after opening the case but only commented on how he did everything right and that the record was in MINT condition when it left him. He never addresses my proposed partial refund, exchange, or return. He then stopped responding to the case. So I had to escalate it to ebay customer support to make a ruling. They ruled in my favor, but are requiring that I pay return shipping costs with some form of tracking. The problem is that return shipping is to JAPAN!!! It'll end up costing $25 via USPS to return it!!!!! THIS IS SUCH B.S.!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Was looking forward to getting this in the mail today or tomorrow but my order status still says "Not Shipped". Bummer!
  10. He doesnt want to admit he payed 60 dollars for Van Halen-Women and Children First. Why, because it will only start music debate which is irrelevant to the conversation.
  11. Correct, just some surface noise on 1 track so that's why I might be inclined to keep it for the right price. I did send him an e-mail this past Thursday (which he hasn't responded to) and I was very nice about it. Simply informed him of the problem (included a picture) and asked if we could work something out.
  12. I intentionally left the label out for the purpose of getting a non-biased opinion on the forum. What I paid for it was the going rate. I didn't get any sort of great deal nor did I overpay. Is %50 off too little, because the more I think about it the less I'm willing to pay? Even with 50% off it's still a $30 record that has audible scratches!?!
  13. The packaging was the best I'd ever seen. They correctly shipped the record outside the sleeve and it was so secure that I highly doubt any damage was caused by shipping. Even if it was damaged in transit Ebay policy still dictates that the responsibility is on the seller.
  14. $60 record off of Ebay ($50 + $10 shipping). The seller's description listed both the vinyl and sleeve to be in MINT condition. The packaging was outstanding and upon quick inspection the sleeve and record did appear to be in MINT condition. It didn't even have the standard scuff marks from paper sleeves. When I flipped the record over to the B-side this is what I saw. The scratches do effect playback, but as you can see by the picture, it only effects playback on the first track. I really don't want to force a full refund because I'd like to keep the record, but I certainly wouldn't have paid what I did in this condition. I'd like half off the original price. Is that fair? How much do you think these scratched devalue the record? Or am I just being a pain in the ass because everything else about the sleeve and vinyl is in Mint to NM condition.
  15. $15 PPD. Like new, never wore it because it was a little too big. Size XL
  16. bump for the original poster. I sent you a PM
  17. I have one in an XL that's in like new condition. I never wore it because it was always a tad too big for me. Make me an offer. I'd also be up for some sort of trade.
  18. Anyone know if they have any leftovers from FEST? They'll be coming through my town on the way up the coast this week.
  19. Anyone going that might be interested in picking up a copy for me I'd pay $20. PM me.
  20. For all of those who have been burned by this guy you can always file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau by going to this link http://www.bbb.org/nebraska/business-reviews/recording-service-sound-and-video/poly-cut-in-omaha-ne-300063049 maybe you can get some resolution that way, if not, it'll at least drop his BBB rating if he doesn't resolve the issue.
