  1. Mad props for starting the auctions at .99....seems more and more common these days for greedy little kids killing the spirit of bidding!
  2. Hey hey, does anyone have an extra receiver in good working condition that they'd part with for a decent price..or I'd be willing to trade vinyl on my list for one??
  3. I have a few slabs of vinyl I thought some folks here might be interested in. I need to re-up my Paypal riches, ya know. I'd be more than happy to take a look at tradelists too. If you need some feedback info http://myworld.ebay.com/sameoldbluez/ http://www.discogs.com/seller/Um_No_Way_Dude RED 40 - Date At the Payphone 7" Landmark (pre Lucero Ben Nichols from 1995) AFGHAN WHIGS - Up In It LP Sub Pop (Black Vinyl-remember, Sub Pop pressed less black vinyl than they did colored variatios for much of their late 80's/early 90's catalog. There is a 1/4" cut out from the top right corner) FAKE PROBLEMS - Dream Team b/w Rumble In the Jungle 7" Side One Dummy (White Vinyl, I believe this was a Hot Topic exclusive) SUPERCHUNK - Here's To Shutting Up LP Merge (Still has shrink attached, only opened enough to take out vinyl which was listened to just once) CAMPER VAN BEETHOVEN - II & III LP Pitch A Tent/Rough Trade CAMPER VAN BEETHOVEN - Key Lime Pie LP (White label promo copy) message me with offers and/or if you'd like pics
  4. I've been fiending for these forever. Best I can afford right now is $25 for either/or. I'd toss in something from my list if anything interested you.
  5. I'm not sure I can extract anything from the OP. Are you saying you have Knapsack - This Coversation is Ending Right Now LP for sale?
  6. Both homeboy and his slampiece sportin' the shit eating grins on his facebook profile pic. Sketchy Mormons.
  7. I do love it. But I bet I'd love a copy of That Much Further West a heck of a lot more. Wink wink. Nudge Nudge....
  8. Hey dude , PM'd in regards to the Humpers LP
  9. I know this is old, but I just want to reveal that I found and bought this at a record store a few towns over from me today for $2.
  10. Trust your instincts. Well, to be fair , if your instincts were sharp, you would have avoided this album in the first place. If there is a more blatant bandwagon jumping, contrived, flavor of the day pile of audio shit floating arund right now, I'd be hard pressed to find it. I'll be honest, I've always thought this dude and the cookie cutter music he was a part of is bullshit, but this is the pinnacle. I mean picture a dude who just a few years ago was swaggering around stage with a full J Crew wardrobe and a microphone headset while fronting a band who sounded like modern era Goo Goo Dolls.....now picture that same idiot today with long hair, cowboy boots, and a leather vest singing "I got the cocaine, whiskey , and heroin bluuuuees" in a faux country accent. Yea, that. Its funny, I'm usually passive about the music I don't like, but it insults my intelligence as a fan of music to be solicited by phony shlock like this.
  11. Dear lord, that guy. I dunno, maybe I'm a freakin' snob, but crap like this sounds so contrived it is barely listenable. Ah well. Happy Thanksgiving !
  12. Hey guys, just wanted to give ya'll the link to my tradelist/want list that I started putting together tonight. It is just my indie sort of stuff right now, and I'm open to trading most anything on there. If anyone is into classic soul and blues, I'll be putting a whole bunch of stuff up over the next few days. Feel free to shoot me a message if anything catches your eye(s). http://www.deadformat.net/tradelist/sameoldbluez Thanks!
  13. No, not quite. Has anyone heard his attempt at making an "Americana" record? I'm going to be nice, but let's just say hearing a dude who used to swagger around on stage like he was in O Town ,double as a J Crew model, and wear a headset microphone sing "I got the cocaine, whiskey , and heroin blues" in a faux country accent is a bit challenging to accept as authentic.
  14. Hey guys, does anyone here remember the late great Grass Records label? They were a New York state label active from 91-96 before being purchased by the twats who folded it into Wind-Up Records. After the buy-out , they dropped all the Grass roster and discontinued pressing of the Grass catalog. Anyways, I have pretty much the entire discography on CD (many of which I've bought for a penny off cdnow), but I was wondering if anyone may have any of it on vinyl? New Radiant Storm King, Braniac, Ditch Witch, Loomis etc etc....
  15. Haha bidding hard is the only way to bid with those starting bids!
  16. I didn't read the thread too closely, so I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned the following: Jr. Juggernaut - Ghost Poision Doughboys- Crush Verbena - Into The Pink
  17. Geeez, sounds like a bunch of people on here are adpet at backseat record label running. But anyhow, the only think I'm going to request is for anyone to refrain from repressing anything that god awful label has ever put out. Please and thank you.
  18. No doubt, dude, can't remember the last time I saw $150 haha. Hey, good for you though. Can't fault a brother for turnin a sweet profit!
  19. I can't imagine what sort of cushy life one must have to be able to throw down $150 on a Bronx LP...or any modern medicore album. Are most of the people who buy and sell these sorts of items high school kids with no responsibilites? Not trying to be a jerk, but a serious question
  20. "I hope you will get orchiditis" Off topic, but what the hell is "orchiditis"???
  21. "Bill"(that is his username) from Scotland just fixed me up with an excellent copy of Knapsack- Silver Sweepstakes for just 15 bucks postpaid from Scotland to the states. Hell, he even threw in the 'True To Form' 7" at no extra charge. Nice dude, too.
  22. Thanks for all the bits of info, guys. I really appreciate it. Downsized and stopped buying vinyl a bunch of years back (2002-ish) without any regard that I might get back into it. Now all the stuff I got rid of for dirt cheap or figured would be easily available forever has proven evasive. Ah well, gives me something to strive for haha.
  23. Repin' the ECER. Goddamn, does that bring back some memories. Listen up all your hardcore youngsters, buy this stuff! It is legendary!
