Why does it seem that people like Hot Fuzz more than Shaun of the Dead?
I love Shaun of the Dead also, but there was something about Hot Fuzz...I think it may have just caught me off guard, wasn't quite what I was expecting (in a good way). Also, I feel like more people have seen SotD than HF, so I'm a little quicker to recommend Hot Fuzz.

Fitzcarraldo
Yes!

damn, i thought this looked kind of lame and was just a cash grab. ill have to take my kid brother to go see it now!
Nothing Pixar does is a cash grab. Everything is gold. I can't wait to see this!
This. Hopefully going one night this week.

The Prestige
Edward Scissorhands
Sleepy Hollow
Back to the Future (really? Part 2 has been suggested and not 1 or 3?)
Baby Mama
Some that I agree with:
Memento (anything by Christopher Nolan really.)
Any Coen Bros.
Any Wes Anderson
Any Pixar
Brazil (then watch Time Bandits...crazy stuff)
Death to Smoochy
Hot Fuzz
etc...

I've only seen SoES on white once on ebay in the last two years or so and it went for $121. Black comes up more often. I know the black is 220g, I assume the white is as well.
My bad, the first one I ever saw was white. I guess if I don't see a color specified, or don't notice, I just assume it is white.

I never heard of Porcelain on white, what was the deal with that? U.S. pressing?Never knew Porcelain was on white too, hmmm.
I've never seen one. Only know of it's existence because someone on this board (Justin I think?) has one. I bought mine as soon as it came out, and a friend bought one on tour, so I figure it can't be an early or tour press...maybe a friends press or something? All I know is I want one. Bad.

Cursive - Storms of Early Summer on white. Didn't think it actually existed until one popped up on eBay a month or two ago. Went for over $100, so that's going to have to wait.
They come up pretty regularly. 200g (or maybe 220?) white. I've been trying to grab one for at least a few years, but they always go to high for me. They generally sell between 50-100ish.
I would have to say the one I don't expect to find is Sparta - Porcelain on white. I'm not much of a variant collector, but I would love to find this (for a reasonable price).

Yeah, I was a subscriber for several years. Got a ton of great stuff, but started not using all of my downloads and losing them. Now I've got a bunch of new stuff I'm looking for so I figure I'll head back over there for a little while.

Cool, I'll try again tonight. Thanks

Is emusic still around? I tried to go there about a week ago and it wasn't working, but I figured it was just technical issues. Trying again now, it is still not loading at all. Anyone else used it lately?

What's Rob Huddleston up to? I know Ann Beretta and Foundation have written some new stuff...any chance of an AB release on P+P?
-
Pretty sure they will be for sale when they are pressed. I dont think they sold all 500 worth of pledges.
-
I've actually been surprised lately by how many have popped up for sale around here.
-
Wow. Love it. Do want.
Agreed. I'm happy with my grey, but if this had been available in the US I definitely would have jumped on it. Looks the best in my opinion.

My brother ordered one, but got a july 2 delivery date.

Really wish they were coming near me on this tour. Thrice has never disappointed me.

Listening to the Gaslight bonaroo set on npr right now. Pretty good set, but the sound quality is not so great. The stage banter is hit or miss.

They didn't play "Seven Nation Army" in Chicago, which is a bummer, but we did get John C. Reilly and Brian Urlacher to pull the Walker Lever. I left satisfied!
I would have loved to see John C. Reilly, but was really excited to see Jack McBrayer. Not gonna lie, I was half expecting to see Will Ferrell or Tom Hanks to close out the tour...that would have blown my mind.

Show was so awesome. Ended up getting there a few minutes before Reggie went on, so I didn't miss anything. Jack McBrayer and Evander Holyfield each came out to pull the Walker Texas Ranger Lever! Conan walked right by my section and then turned the other way when he came into the crowd...hopes went way up then way down, ha. The band was so awesome, they were so much fun to watch. When I went to a Late Night taping they did some performing before the show, which was great, but they put so much more into this. And seeing Conan play with them was wonderful. Seven Nation Army was definitely a highlight, it was perfect. From the time the band started to the time the show ended was probably two hours and fifteen minutes or so, but it went by so fast. You could tell everybody was having a great time. Sorry for the rambling.

I've heard nothing but good things about Reggie, but am driving two hours, losing an hour due to time zone change, and going straight from work...hoping for the best!
You're going to the show tonight? I'm taking the wife for our anniversary.
Awesome! Yeah, my wife and I are meeting my family there. Should be a good time!

Awesome, thanks. If all goes well I'll be getting to the venue right at showtime, but it's good to know there's a little time just in case.

No kidding. I thoroughly enjoyed the hours of futurama that comedy central showed yesterday.
