  13. Refused - The Shape of Punk To Come Off With Their Heads - From The Bottom Braid - Frame & Canvas (i've had this CD since it came out, and it's so freaking scratched i can't even listen to it anymore. Digital Download Card:Score! 180 gram:Score!)
  14. welcome to the world of park. certain people in that band are only about the cash, nothing more.
  15. find someone who spins records. there's a ton of people here in st. louis who spin punk/whatever they want nights who love to get a bunch of random records. it helps break up the set. my buddy moved to vegas and gave me literally five crates of records. i'll never listen to them, but they come in handy when i'm spinning.
  16. i'm not too worried about. i've traded with him in the past. i know he's working hard and i know it's a bitch to put out records. just hadn't heard anything from him for a while. i'm a patient dude.
  17. anyone hear any news on the park vinyl from vega vinyl? virgil posted the pics of the copies he got a couple weeks back, but no updates from vega on when their copies are shipping out.
  18. record exchange is fucking killer. but you could take an entire week, and still not look through everything. the place is that big. in the old south city library, right across the street from my high school. great neighborhood.
  19. i'm going to wait it out for a few days. went to 2 different att stores today at 9 am, and they were already out. they are supposed to be getting new "stock" everyday. didn't know that that meant only getting 10 new phones in stock a day. then walked across the street to the apple store to see a line of about 100 waiting for me. i'll wait a few days till the hype wears down a little. it is bullshit that you can't buy it online though.
  20. havent' gotten it in st. louis yet either. and right when it's starting to get hot as balls outside. i hate ordering vinyl in the summer.
  21. good luck finding any of the good stuff from the 90's on vinyl. i've been searching and searching, and i'm afraid it's just not out there. most of the slackers stuff is still readily available. most of all the ska that asian man did is still available. and if you do some searching you can find the classics like aitken and dekker. the majority of the bands that were on moon in the 90's never got vinyl treatment except for a few seven inches here and there, same with stubborn. and good luck finding anything that was on kingpin or some of the smaller labels. i'd love to find some things by bands like the siren six!, skavoovie & the epitones, the parka kings, easy big fella...all the really good traditional stuff from that time. but i'm pretty sure none of it was ever pressed on vinyl. i'm afraid that until someone tries to get the rights to press it now, you'll never find it. but let's keep our fingers crossed.
  22. Ah, that must've been it. I somehow was on your e-mailing list back in the day (no idea how; I never saw you live or anything) and remembered something about Papa Roach in one of them. i do remember one of the roach buds wearing a not waving shirt in a rolling stone picture or something. and yes, this show will rule. i am definately taking off work the next day.
