hell yes! i read everyone of those pops ups! that was an awesome idea. i cannot wait for this premiere tonight! i'm the only one of my friends who cares about this show, so i have no one to talk to about it. let's keep the LOST threads going!

this is our main office. but i'm in the process of finishing our basement, aka my "dude's lair". so hopefully soon i'll have that set up to my liking. but this is it for now. it's very clean, per the old lady's request.

all this shit is crazy. there are certain bands that i do have that "gotta have it now" mentality. ie: bosstones, hot water, lifetime. but these only being bands that have great sentimental value to me. bands that i almost can't put a price on. granted, i do have a limit on what i'll spend. i can't see any situation where i have to have something soooooo bad that i'd spent over, say, $60 for one record. but recently, i was able to score a copy of gaslight anthem's sink or swim on white/ red splatter in a trade through this very message board, then saw that it went for $85 on ebay a couple days later. $85 fucking dollars! i mean, no one even knew who this band was a year ago! and now their shit is going for that much. this is a record that will most definatley be repressed sooner than later, which is why i feel bad for who got screwed on buying that.

i'm looking for early third wave shit. i'm working on a couple transactions. some really good stuff. but i'm really looking for stuff non-LTJ, VGS-ish type stuff. more traditional 3rd wave stuff.

i've seen the slackers better late than never 2XLP around, and a few toasters records. if i could find DUB 56, that would make my day. i'd like to be able to find some of the lesser known names though. i'm sure it's damn near impossible. some of those bands had to have put out some vinyl at some point along the line.
