well, i cant deny that. that is a pretty shitty move. He buys the license. For example, everyone knows glassjaw got screwed up the ass by warner. but WB was going to press worship and tribute no matter what despite GJ themselves saying to NOT buy ANY version of everything you wanted/worship so you don't support WB. would you have gotten mad at travis for getting the 2,000 white exclusive to H/T? even if he didn't get these, WB would have given it to someone else. Yeah the bands got screwed by the label, but you should be mad at the LABEL, not the dude who presses the record/sells them. If it was up to the band they would even stop sales on itunes so their label doesnt make anymore money on their music. How the fuck can you get mad at dude who tries to make a record available in your favorite format, always doing the record justice.

Like Two and a Half Men or a Transformers movie. It's just filler entertainment for people too lazy to find things with lasting value that they'll actually love. I've got no respect for this no-talent assclown, he rode the shitty screamo wave with FFTL and now he's just found a new subculture to dilute and pass off to ignorant people. +1 i can agree with this completely. I remember being on tumble and someone had posted a screen cap of a facebook status he posted regarding his love for Aphex Twins "Film". All the comments on it kept ignorantly asking where the drop was. It reminds me of when the scene here in town was full of stupid breakdown hardcore bands. It becomes a joke and its disgusting. I swear some people are so pretentious. People like skrillex because he used to be in From first to last, and they followed his music cause they were interested in what he was doing. It happened to sound good. Fact is these people came from a hardcore scene and liked the fact that it had something similar to a breakdown. People don't listen to hardcore bands or skrillex type dubstep to be "moved" artistically, or be inspired. Its not a work of art. Its just supposed to be fun. Something anyone can listen to and "get it" within 10 seconds of listening to it anywhere in the song. If you listen to skrillex or a band like a day to remember expecting to be moved or expect something out of this world, then obviously you're going to be disappointed. Its not radiohead or muse or thrice. Its skrillex, and holding all music to those standards is just ridiculous. Blame the artists you like so much for not making it "as fun" to listen to. Don't hate on these artists just cause they knew how to make it popular.

I actually like Vheissu the most. I even feel like after vheissu came out, they kind of all felt like "damn, we really outdid ourselves, I don't think we can ever top this record" and while beggars and major/minor are amazing records, I don't think they come close to the greatness that is vheissu[with Artist being a very close 2nd]. Ranked. 1. Vheissu 2. Artist 3. Beggars 4. Major/Minor 5. Illusion 7. Alchemy 6. Identity sometimes illusion moves up to #3 randomly depending on my mood.

I feel completely opposite towards this. I can't listen to BTHATS without listening to it in its entirety. Its like my favorite album of all time. Live they're even better. I drove all the way to worcester MA from long island, just to see them live.

Basically, tell me about the time were you were about to buy a record then for whatever reason or shenanigans that ensued prevented me from getting it. For me, it was when Dine alone put up a few extra copies of Alexisonfire's Watchout! and the Self titled a couple of months ago. I didn't order it cause it came up to 100~ shipped for both, and thought it was kinda pricey. Both of them were in my cart, then i just X'd out the window thinking I could get it a bit cheaper if I just waited a little while.
