The Espn expert concensus has McCoy (#3 rb), Gurley (#4), Johnson (#5), Freeman (#7).
When in doubt, that's what I trust
-
I would never sit Gurley at this point unless maybe facing a really fierce D like Seattle or Denver.
-
Maybe this dude deserves the hype but I was thinking "why are they blowing this dude with his name all over the credits of every cutscene?" as I started playing MGS 5
Credits belong at the very beginning or end of a game. No one really gives a shit inbetween.

That josh brown missed fg knocked me out of playoffs

A dude I went to high school with just won 1.5m in a fanduel tournament

I totally did not expect us to shutout the Falcons
I think they have been exposed as a fluke. Not a bad team, but they didn't belong undefeated a third of the way through the season.

I'm actually kind of pissed now that I'm reading it's a 6 year deal. WTF you wouldn't sign Greinke to 6 years but you'll do it for Cueto who is not as good. I'm still pleased, and hopefully Righetti will straighten him out
I would rather have the Cueto deal BY FAR. Cueto's stock about as low as it has been in 5 years and Greinke will never approach what he did this year again. Cueto also younger.
I'm not positive I would take Greinke over Cueto if the money was equal. Probably, but not by a lot.

I either need Jarvis Landry to outscore devante Parker by 13 or Josh Brown to score 10 points to make the playoffs.
Far from a sure thing, but not horrible longshots.

The only sorta bad thing I could say about it is that the story is pretty linear.
Meet new character
bad stuff happens
new character turns into deadite
kill deadite
meet new character

Another AWFUL call against the Lions today at the worst possible time. Riddick called for a chop block on a guy who not engaged with anyone else (and not really even in the area of another Lion). Negated a nice 25 yard or so pickup in the red zone, so it pretty much erased 7 points off the board.
I guess it's good if they lose from here out, though.

I was skeptical but holy shit is this show awesome. I've been binge watching to get caught up.

I own a 2000 Pontiac. Would not recommend. Replaced the starter, the coolant reservoir twice, the idle air valve keeps getting jammed with carbon, the power steering hose busted and replaced the ignition cylinder. Oh and the turn signal relay has a bad solder point so they work sometimes, but not always, which is scary. All in about 3 years with 135k miles. I will indeed dissuade anyone from buying a Pontiac
Sure. My comment wasn't necessarily endorsing Pontiac but just making the point that even though they are out of business, there were a million of them on the road and it's not too hard to find parts when needed.

I have a Mazda 3 and I love it but the gas mileage isn't so great. I have a 2010 so this may have improved with newer models. The main reason I bought it was because they offered manual transmission and I can't imagine driving an automatic since I've never owned one.
They are definitely getting harder to find. Used to get better gas mileage but with all the computer controls and 8 speed transmissions that are being put out now they actually get worse mileage in a lot of cases. Given things like CAFE standards, increased hybridization, and low demand, I think they are going to be gone from everything but maybe muscle cars in the near future.

I wouldn't recommend buying a car that is out of business
Sort of second this. I dumped my 2007 9-3 even though I liked the car a lot. It's not so much that the company went out of business (I wouldn't dissuade anyone from buying a Pontiac, for example) but almost no local mechanics will work on a Saab as the parts are too hard to get.
Simple things like changing the headlamp bulbs were also a huge pain with that car. Everything is really tightly packed into the engine compartment.
Cool cars when they are new, too much of a hassle to deal with later in their life when things start wearing out.

Arrow has always been pretty bad about staying believable with characters dodging bullets but the end of this last episode was just ridiculous.

Pretty good end of the season. Garrison ripping on Jenner throughout the last 2 episodes cracked me up.

I believe it was 4 years, $18m for a guy coming off a couple seasons averaging about 6 WAR.
I may have some of those details wrong, as it's fairly hard to google "Ben Zobrist contract" and not get everything to come back about the Cubs contract.
But if my details aren't too far off that contract goes FAR beyond "signing for less to win." No one takes 3x less than market (or something like that) to win.
-
We talk a lot about the bad but that contract Zobrist signed with the Rays has to be one of the best FA deals ever. I'm kind of amazed that he didn't get more given some very good seasons he had already put up.
-
I just felt there was a lot more going on the first day, everyone was waiting to see where Zobrist went. I also thought the yanks trade was stupid, getting rid of Castro was a mistake, Zobrist is a gamble for 4 years at 35 and Castro is young (I only mention this cause zobrist is taking his spot?) Also the Braves trade was zzzz unless you consider the diamondbacks getting snubbed the interesting part, it's not like the Braves are going to have a 2016 run
Castro sucks and his WAR is only ok because a ton of SS suck. Paid too much and thus they basically had to let him go for nothing just to dump the salary. Young doesn't mean much anymore when a guy has 5 years big league experience. You pretty much know what he is. Used to hear that all the time about Porcello. Pretty glad we didn't bite on that.
Zobrist is a much better player. I'd rather have a guy who's been great for a long time on the tail end than a 25 year old who's never been that good.

I think we have enough "list your top 5 or 10" threads already. They are pretty boring.

Thinking about turning down my bosses job for an extra $15k a year because I don't want to do the same thing I've been doing for the next 3+ years.
It's not easy, though..

You can really get tuition reimbursement for a part time job? You aren't going to find that in a lot of places.
Still, you'll want to quit the job in the summer and do an internship. Any engineering student with a brain can have no trouble getting a full time summer internship making near $20 / hour. Plus it's a resume booster (much more than HD) and gets your foot in the door for a full time job immediately upon graduation.
