Industrial engineering. I have worked for General Motors as a production supervisor on an engine assembly line for the past 5 weeks. I guess I was unclear in my original comment. I am not buying a house to fix up and flip. I want to buy a place to get out of my parent's basement. I'm just trying to get the most I can for my buck. My dad is a handyman who can help me fix something up, but I can't get into anything that is TOO big of a project.

But I am a new college grad who is looking to buy a house pretty soon. Every so often when I am talking to someone about buying houses they will say something like "My brother got a good hookup with a bank and bought 5 houses for $20,000 each that he sold for $100,000 each," or something like that. Has anyone ever had an experience with buying a house for less than 50% of what an appraisal would say its worth, and if so how? Did you cut some super secret backroom deal or did you just have to look a little farther than the Yahoo! Real Estate page?

Anyone hear anything recently about the vinyl release of this? I know it was delayed for a while, but how long?

I'll be pissed if this goes for more than the $150 I got for mine...

I agree with Jon that I only like some of the songs. The screaming really turns me off, but otherwise they are awesome!

There have been a bunch of posts about this record. I think it is in relatively high demand and goes for around $50, but others would know better than me.

I am somewhat certain Ghost Stories has not been pressed yet.

I was looking at it relatively. The person overpaid by 12 times. It's like paying $100 for a record that was still in print for $8. Clearly, this is a small thing in the current world of ebaying. I thought it was just stupid enough to warrant a WTF post.

No it's not. I think there is a very good chance this person could have bought this from Fat for $1, but mistook it for something that wasn't generic and mass printed. I bet I could still pick this up for a dollar.

Maybe you couldn't get Greatest Story anymore, but it stills seems stupid. Pretty soon, people are going to start buying massive quantities of these posters for flipping! I had records that would skip on my old turntable and not one my new, but it sounds to me like your Gaslight is damaged. Did you store it vertically or horizontally? If heard storing horizontally can damage records.

When I go to page three it shows posts from July 2007.
