  1. I ordered both of these as soon as the preorder went up. I was not familiar with Tempest beforehand, but I am a fan of Masakari. "Pain Conceived as a Tool" is one of my favorite tracks on The Prophet feeds.
  2. I found a copy of this at my local record store, and was taken aback. They were only charging $22 for it on black. When I brought it home and checked Profound Lore's website, I realized that I got something of a deal on it. Awesome album.
  3. I am a pretty big Lucero fan, but I have to agree. The cover isn't very exciting, either. Truth be told, I was not really feeling their last album.
  4. Is Tee Pee Records pressing of Dopesmoker the only version of it? I was fortunate enough to acquire a copy of that a little while ago. I would probably buy Jerusalem on record if it was repressed, as I have no qualms with wasting my money. Heh heh.
  5. You can buy the shirt alone from Southern Lord's webstore. Though, I admit it is kind of hard to navigate. I went a long time before I noticed there are numerous sections to their store, which you can navigate through with some tabs at the top. http://www.southernlord.com/store.php?dept=SHI Just scroll down, it is towards the bottom.
  6. I ordered the deluxe version a little while ago, and have not recieved it yet, nor did I get an e-mail about it being on its way.
  7. Mine arrived today, with the corners smashed in on the sleeve. If I had found it that way in a store, I certainly would not have purchased it. This is the last time I will be ordering something from The National's webstore (Cinder Block).
  8. For one reason or another, I am kind of enthralled by these sorts of blogs. Keep at it. I spent a few months in New Zealand a number of years ago (I realize that is not quite Australia, but it is close!), and am upset that I did not try to learn more about the music scene over there.
  9. This is really well done. Probably the nicest thing I have in my collection.
  10. I wholeheartedly agree. Certainly my favorite Jesus Lizard record. I ended up buying all of the represses, and I am glad that I did.
  11. Yeah, I imagine it would be easy to replace. There are no stickers or anything of the sort on either of the sleeves.
  12. Both of my inner and outer sleeves are totally fucked, split all the way through. It's a bummer but considering how cheap the shipping was and the handwritten note from banquet that came with the package, i'll live with it. I got mine from Jumbo Records today. It isn't in very good shape. One of the corners is smashed in, and the inner and outer sleeve on one side is torn the whole way through. All in all, I am not very impressed with the packaging, as a whole. I guess the intent was to make it nondescript and plain. All black, no writing. But the outer sleeve is not made of the nicest cardboard that I have come across. I didn't really know what to expect with it, but I would be lying to say that I am not a little disappointed. At least I got one, though.
