i hate white bacardi, but this stuff is great.

The Mt. Gay Eclipse is a gold and it's probably not much more than Bacardi. They also make a silver which is surprisingly good. Do a side by side test with the Mt. Gay and the Bacardi and let me know what you think. Either way you will be drunk

zaya is one of the most enjoyable rums i've ever had. also really like cruzan single barrel for the price.

flor de cana 18 is also really nice

Zaya is my go to sipping rum and it's about half the price of Zacapa, which is similar. Rhum Barbancourt 15 year and Santa Teresa 1796 are also good for the pricier side.

I didn't know anything about this company and really wasn't sure if I was going to even get my record, but

for the price it was worth a shot. To my surprise I came home today to find my Red Sparowes record waiting for me. Only about $7 with the shipping. Amazed and really damn happy right now.

Would anyone be interested if I imported some records for Pelagic? I can't get this 10" but I can get pretty much anything else and it will be much cheaper. Probably less than $85 for the Heliocentric/Anthropocentric 4xLP box and $18 for the single LPs (Fogdiver, Age of The Fifth Sun, Exit Eden...).

i've just never understood the makeup on dude's thing....i mean, if you're dressing in drag, by all means, knock yourself out with it....but just for shit's and giggles as an everyday look, don't get it. Maybe on stage for shock value or something along those lines, but kids just wearing make-up for funsies, i just don't get

Generally it's a lame and empty gesture when there is a lack of substance in the music. BUT let's not forget the New York Dolls who all wore draggy makeup, were given shit for it, and yet still kicked so much ass.

I have heard TMS is repressing both Trees albums. I was in search of these as well but now I'm going to hold off until they are repressed.

This whole record collecting frenzy reminds me of the comic book collecting frenzy of the early 90's where every comic had a foil or multiple covers. All those comics are now sitting in 25 cent bins and a lot of these variant colored records will be some day.

I was in the midst of that nonsense...it got exhausting and frustrating...esp. when Marvel and DC started milking it. It got me out of reading and collecting comic books.

Yeah, I got caught up in that whole mess. I mostly read the smaller companies like Image. It was crazy that I'd pick up a variant copy of Angela for cover price and already it was worth $35. I liked reading them though, so I kept it. Now, I could get maybe $2 for it and don't really read it anymore.

Variant covers did kill the comic industry and I do have the fear that it will kill the vinyl industry, but only time will tell.

All I know is that even if I have a ridiculous amount of variant copies of the same American Nightmare record at least I can spin the shit out of it and then just listen to the other copies. I am trying to reign in my variant buying though.

Anyone want to buy some Lady Death or Cry for Dawn comics?
