I picked up a pair of Doc Marten's 1460's on Macy's for around 95.00 a while back. While not cheap, they last forever.
My wife used to work at a doc martens store in downtown seattle, we were getting 60% off shoes for a while.
Anyway, backed, docs are the only way to go!

Ok so I have 2, one was on the tour with American nightmare and the hope conspiracy, it was in a little theatre in seattle and the place was packed and kids were going apeshit. Another time was for the Undertow / Unbroken show in seattle, they were playing that night with Mastadon at an arena and rushed over to a small capacity club and belted out 7ish songs, also I was hella drunk and was stoked to see Undertow

My record store has a used copy for $70, i know it's steep but at least it's avoiding ebay and so forth, if you're interested PM me and i'll give you the stores info.

Is it just me or does anyone else get a hot water music vibe from the single?

Sad songs, alligator, and boxer are my favs. High violet was good but that's where I started to loose it for them, I can't get into the new one.
Definitely check out Sad Songs for dirty lovers though

Kess is a tight dude! I just traded him my copy of The National's "cherry tree" 10" on red for a pair of hair clippers I want for barber school. He gets an awesome record and I got a new tool to further my education. Stoked!

So lately I've been on a 90s binge, lotsa seaweed, sugar, superchunk, and I should continue my "S" 90s band obsession with sebadoh. Where is a good place to start, I was thinking bakesale, anyone have a favorite one that pops out above the rest?
-
So now I'm gonna be "that" guy, did anyone get a clear copy with little black bumps on the vinyl? At first I thought it was just black speckling in the vinyl but its actually raised bumps in the grooves that create loud pops. I'm gonna get an exchange but just curious if anyone has a copy like this?

There is a small record store in the town I live in called The Record Benders. The owner Randy specializes in fixing warped records. Here is his website: http://www.therecordbenders.com/ He fixed one record for me earlier this week w/ pretty good results. Its a little pricey, between 10-15 bucks, but worth it if its an expensive record.
Yea it's definitely worth it to me. called the guy and he said I could mail it in. I might have to give it a shot

Hi,
Does anyone know of a place that I could ship a record in to have a slight warp fixed?
I'm kind of afraid to try a home remedy. If this is an old topic i would appreciate it if someone could link me to it, thanks.

Is there a vinyl pre-order for this? Also since they're back on equal vision any news on some early stuff repress?

Any chance these are going out to indie retailers?
