anyways i thought the theory was that WB & RR saw how the GJ 7"s were doing and decided to capitalize. and if that is/were the case, i am totally pumped to have both these albums on vinyl.

I managed to get 2 of the 7"s at least. and as a plus off the bat I became aware of the complete tomfuckery that the ebay vinyl scene is. sry if you didnt want my bio as a response but i figured u were referring to me with the comment above.

i feel the same as you, but obv if i had gotten one i would argue that hey, thats the breaks. thinking about all the trouble people are having i doubt there were 1,000 people that were actually able to get the order in.

yeah either way im giving it a break for now. try my luck in an hour or two.

wow, this has been my most loved band since i saw them open for converge last year on the axe to fall tour, i am going to be really bummed and probably cry if i cant get a hold of this release for a normal price. i havent cried since my grandpa died however many years ago, sooo yeah, this is a biggie for me.

Sorry all, i havent been on since i wrote that story bout getting mine but DAMN there must be some senstitive fat people on here. Honestly ii didnt post to insult the kid, really, all i stated was facts 1. That he was fat (which is an understatement, cause he was actually quite obese) and 2. What he was wearing. Don't understand y u all think my goal was to rag on this kid. I actually bought the 2nd copy to try and trade for a black one on the GJ.net forum im a regular at. hasnt worked so far. and if i was going to flip any glassjaw stuff i'd have flipped the 4 copies of the new EP i got at the shows i went to, way bigger profit margin on those being that they were free. I AM NOT A FLIPPER! Y HATE?

got mine in perfect condition, went to hot topic. they were holding a copy for me, since i had to go to work. i got there and they had my copy on hold still, plus the only other copy they got was still on the shelf, so i bought that copy too. Anyways,i went in there two days later to pick up the new defeater i'd ordered through their kiosk. and in the store was a sad looking fat kid, tall with short scruffy dark hair. He was wearing an 80's nike tshirt that was some sort of ugly green with the signature swoosh, bold and orange, stretched between his man boobs and bowling ball belly, and being a sad fat kid he had the typical fat kid squared looking glasses with thick black rims. He was frantically looking around the vinyl section (all two shelves of it) while i was talking to a fellow vinyl aficionado(?) Ian that works there. At this point over Ian's left shoulder i saw toward the back of the store and the kid was now talking to the girl that worked there toward the back of the store. She then turns and looks at me, making eye contact and with a slight smirk she stiffly points says loud enough for me to hear her over the blaring pop tunes "blame that guy, he came in Tuesday and bought both!" the kid's fat head slowly followed her finger and our eyes met. He stared, shocked, with a blank look on his face. He didnt say a word, or make a sound, silence. I said something to the affect of "man, if i was you i would really really hate me, real sorry dude, but i stay on top of my shit." still staring with that look of disbelief, he did not respond. He shuffled back over about 5 feet with his head down, to where he came from in the extensive vinyl section. It was almost as if he was hoping it was a joke and a copy would miraculously appear on the shelf and he would be able to breath again. It didnt. Poor kid. guess he'll have to wait for the repress. I really hope karma doesnt come into play on this one. I could see him being the one that ends up fucking me over on the EYEWTKAS repress. haha, wouldnt that just be sooo fitting.

So i found the ditributed titles section of the Deathwish Estore at like 12am last night, spent the next 1 1/2 going through the lists very attentively. i ended up trimming down my cart two times before i hit submit. Hi all, first post EVER!!!! Anyways i was at the instore on release day also, i actually thought that pic of the signed copy was my pic of it i posted on FB. haha. This album sounds absolutley incredible on vinyl. i had only heard the low quality stream previously and i was kind of 'meh' on it, but i listened to this three times last night! (using envy - recitation to mix it up between album plays) all of the band were really nice, and i thought i saw Adam Vass from La Dispute but said to myself 'nah, that dont make sense' i tweeted him and asked if he were there. yes he was. im an idiot. good artist and in an amazing band, wouldve been nice to get a pic with him or at least say hi!
