Well figured i'd give this thread a bump and also say thank you to the guys at topshelf for putting on an amazing CMJ showcase, easily the best i was at all weekend. only made 4 of my planned 6, but A for effort right? also, people really should listen to A Great Big Pile of Leaves, what great guys, saw them 3 times this weekend and they got better every show. records release sunday was a blast, I have have seen this band about 6 times, i generally hate soft music, but have such a good time at their shows. PS. i think i shit my pants during saddest landscape set on friday, love that band sooo so much.

im from new jersey and have seen thursday a million times and am not sick of them yet, get over it no devolution rocks socks man. but seriously, i am very much looking forward to this on vinyl, the mp3 isnt exactly blowing my hair back the way 'somewhere..' did. dont worry i'm going to give it a bunch more listens before i get official on judging it.

Sooo, any Self Defense Family pics? was it the new island jams series release? color variant? Can i still get the Deluxe Subscription? not into all those bands but am a huge SDF fan and collector of the already ridiculous discog, also like shook ones, & some tigers jaw. for ppl that have this is it worth it? thanks.

people over at glassjaw.net mentioned it last year when the 7"s were coming out, before then i only had a few pieces of vinyl. since then ive added at least 180 pieces to my collection. love this place when i'm bored at work, the collections thread is a personal fav.

same here, they've been selling limited copies on tour. someone said they were tests because the reg version isnt back from the plant yet. . . this is indeed the case, at least according to Patrick, i had to ask if they were fuckin with me when i saw the test label, apparently it was for real, said there were out of 50. absolutely love Self Defense, talk about underated. there arent many bands who's music gets me so pumped.

gotcha, thought u meant as a band doing a split with them, lol. didnt see any sumhard stuff there no. but according to Andrew they've got about another three releases possibly this year (guess yours is one of them) btw, i love cheap vinyl. you can count on me to buy both colors for sure. again, congrats on this, will keep an eye out for it.

- End of A Year Self Defense Family - I'm going through some shit b/w all fruit is ripe 7" (test press! / 50) went to the free records release show in Brooklyn a couple of weeks ago. Snagged the new 7"; "I'm going through some shit" b/w "All fruit is ripe" there, since the plant hadnt finished them yet all they had was test presses, lucky for me! they also had some variants that i previously didnt have either. besides the vocals being too low that show was awesome. I just can't get enough of these guys. I've only gotten to see them live twice and have to say Patrick is one the most entertaining frontman i've ever seen. heres a pic of the other variants i picked up to in case anyone cares about this band. I would suggest following their twitter, one of my favorites. - End of a Year / Segwei - split 7" (clear gray with black/330) - End of a Year - More songs about transportation and intercourse (green/100) (P.S. Aplogies for the low quality phone cam pics)

i usually take a pen and slowly work the hole (dirty) it until its big enough to fit, u avoid using anything sharp that might really mess it up.

got my 3 colors today. no clear though. not worried about it, I haven't stopped playing this album. but i gotta get goin for the boy sets fire reunion. with defeater. hmmmmm. maybe i'll suddenly get sick and not make it, haha. yeah right, this show is going to kill.
