  1. Hey, at least there's no "mixed purple" or "light grey" /16 copies.
  2. I'm having some serious trouble logging in to the store... Every time I click "proceed" I get a "Please enter a valid e-mail address" error. If I miss out on some Screeching Weasel action, I will be bummed to the max. Anyone else having trouble? Cancel this... you have to type your e-mail address in both e-mail fields for some reason...
  3. That's Avagadro's number in computer scientific notation up there. High five on that one. The only numbers I have for this pressing are 500 on white and 500 on grey. Jade Tree did all sorts of 500s back in the day, so I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the half dozen other versions of this LP (orange opaque, orange translucent/orange opaque, red translucent/blue translucent, red translucent) are of a series of 500 as well. Not sure which pressings belong to which color though.
  4. Glad I ordered mine a few weeks ago. And by "Glad" I mean, "I just blew $80."
  5. I have a feeling I'll be missing out on that single... get more if you can, Virgil!
  6. How are you telling this press from the more recent (and apparently flawed) repress?
  7. I'm really disappointed in the tone of this thread, guys. We should all be excited just to have this awesome album on vinyl again for all to cherish and enjoy, completely free of drama. That being said. I'm going to flip the everliving fucking shit out of this shit, n00bs. See you all on eBay, suckers!!!1
  8. Brother is the single I'm talking about. But the news on their webpage says they released a "Sometimes the Line Walks You" single on that same label... back in May of last year. But there's no mention of it on the CV website. Anyone know anything about this?
  9. Also, Cooking Vinyl released a single of their a while back... does Virgil order from them? Could he?
  10. I need both the white and red as well. Hit me up if they're available.
  11. Only legit colored versions of these that I know of are the US versions of In Utero (clear) and Unplugged (white). I'd be very interested in knowing if these are colored as well.
  12. Just got my box in. I got a DVD called "Rewind: The Greatest Hits Tour" by a guy called Midge Ure. The note inside says, "We have no idea what this is about. XOXO MBD" Can't complain there. So now I've got an extra copy of "Exorcist" if anyone wants it. What's this I hear about an early pressing that had a misprinted spine?
  13. Sigur Ros sounds like what girls who want to be pretty pretty princesses imagine is playing in the background as they ride a white steed in slow motion to a castle in the clouds. Or the exact opposite, depending on your mood. I'm not a huge fan of their music, but holy shit does this video blow my mind: Also, I'm pretty sure the White Stripes themselves are behind those drives. They also made 3" records and sold them with a special 3" record player as well. But that's a different thread.
  14. There are rumors that the repressings of the UK In Utero have the Albini mixes instead of the Litt mixes... anyone know anything about this?
  15. Has anyone received the 4 LP set in the mail yet? I'm getting nervous about mine now...
  16. There was some serious drama when this band got dropped. Rich posted some crazy bulletin on the old Vagrant boards about how "some bands" don't "appreciate the help they get" and whatnot. Then he deleted the post shortly thereafter. The Anniversary were friends of the Get Up Kids and that's how they got signed to Vagrant. So I guess they started shopping around for other labels or something and then Rich freaked out and refuses to recognize their existence to this day. (note their absence on the vagrant.com artist list). Someone's gotta have a copy of that bulletin... Scott?
  17. I'm also interested in JEW as long as it's not the Western Tread pressing.
  18. I snagged a BIN at $30 for this a few months ago and was stoked. Most copies I see are in Japan for some reason.
  19. Here's all I've got. Check my list and PM me! Hot Water Music - Finding the Rhythms LP (5th pressing of 550; Green translucent w/ dark grey 7" on No Idea) Hot Water Music - Finding the Rhythms LP (10th pressing of 200; Egg Drop Soup w/ dark grey 7" on No Idea) Hot Water Music - Where We Belong 7" (Black 2nd pressing of 1,111 on No Idea) Hot Water Music/Six Going On Seven split 7" (Black on Some; sleeve VG)
  20. Vagrant should just let Virgil do their vinyl... this release was a mess.
  21. Supposedly there's a black version as well, but I've never seen anyone selling it. I remember when I pre-ordered it from Jade Tree, they said something like 3,000 on white. Sounds a bit high, but who knows.
  22. Yeah, Vaya was a 10 inch on white vinyl (some leaning towards blue, right?).
