  1. Just received a copy of this from the bay and it's missing the insert... or was there an insert included in the UK press (the one with the red bar and 3P50 price)? I'm hoping I won't have to track down another copy of this one since I already have like 5 versions of the record.
  2. So I just found yet another version of the American Jesus 7" at Reckless. Anyone got some more info on this one? So far I have: Green labels (first pressing?) Blue labels Yellow labels Orange gradient labels Pink labels Anyone know of any others? Also, Anyone know anything about the other SFTRI Bad Religion singles from this era? Andy
  3. I'm interested in the following. Take a look at my list and we'll talk! Sage Francis Personal Journals Double LP Sage Francis The Human Death Dance Double LP The Mr T Experience Love Is Dead Lookout Records (if it's on some color other than blue) The Broadways Broken Star Asian Man Records
  4. If Virgil wants to fly my ass down to Austin, I'll videotape this beyotch. I could probably scare up a crew down there as well since there are a million film school kids who go to SXSW.
  5. Trying to do a trade for this one, as I could just get my money back from the seller. PM me with an offer and we can talk. Thanks!
  6. What's the sleeve look like on the Samiam record? Mine's a little jacked and could use an upgrade.
  7. If you're 26-30 and lived near Chicago in the mid-90's, you sure as hell did! My friend just met the girl from that band... she's in The Like Young now I guess.
  8. Based on the pattern of it, I'm going to guess he had a milk crate with some records in it sitting by the window. Only the top is really bad. Wouldn't help if he was a smoker, though. Years ago when I was into (don't judge) vintage Star Wars toys, all the sealed figures that came from Australia (and many from Europe) had yellowed bubbles (the plastic covering on the card that holds the figure). Something to do with the combination of plastic used and quality of the air over there. Since these all came from Germany, it's possible that those are a factor here as well. But the smart money's on the theory that this chode didn't take care of his shit.
  9. There were 1,017 on black as well, according to my information.
  10. Interested in these two. Check the list in my sig and hit me up if there's something you like! Andy
  11. I'll take that Aloha shirt. PM me if it's still available.
  12. So I finally got around to taking pictures of my two copies of "The Storms of Early Summer." Note the color of the sticker on the left... it's easier to tell how yellow the cover is from that. If anyone's interested in this yellow mo fo, let me know soon, as the guy I bought it from has offered a refund.
  13. Holy Jeebus. I sent an e-mail requesting the Jonah orange be added to my last order but I didn't get a response so I think I blew this one again.
  14. Any idea of that "Astray" is one white vinyl? Not sure if they made a black pressing of that one here in the states...
  15. That Tree club was the bomb not only because it was well-organized (the boxset of the overstock was brilliant) but also because it was chock full of legitimately awesome bands that absolutely defined that era. Shai Hulud and Rainer Maria on the same record?! Fuck yeah. The Get Up Kids and Braid? I'd probably struggle to think of combinations that are comparable in today's "scene" (since I'm all old and shit, probably).
  16. I've got the most fucked up relationship with this band, so my opinion should be completely discounted. But I think their only rock solid record is "It Won't Snow Where You're Going." "No Signal" was close, but has some skippers on there. But very weird personal shit interferes with my judgment on this band... plus I never heard their first 7" so this is really quite off topic.
  17. That's the one I sold as well. Could've sworn I saw more than that back in the day. Something incorporating the Chicago flag or something... or is that Oblivion or some other Johann's band?
  18. I'm in the same boat. Now I guess I don't have to open my tour press...
  19. They had a few 7" before that LP. I sold one on eBay a few years back but am totally flaking on the title. Only went for $5 or $6 though. They pop up in Chicago occasionally, so I'll keep an eye out. On a semi-related note... anyone got any Tricky Dick?!
  20. 400 of each I believe. I've got the other 3. I was bummed when this record didn't get the love I felt it deserved. The single is off the hook, too.
  21. The guy who ran that label had a ton of them leftover and was selling them on the Park message board like 5 years ago (my company did their website for a spell). I messaged him about one but never got a response. They occasionally pop up on the bay and sell for like $3 if at all. Surprised to hear someone outside of Springfield liked this band...
  22. I was just about to place an order for this and was bummed to see it no longer in the store! I'm in for one of those as well for sure... I think it's Jonah's best work to date.
  23. Glenn's in a new band now (or was last I heard). Or are you just going for pre-Trio projects? If so, are you doing Smoking Popes and Suicide Machines as well?
