  1. It's not much, but it's the most complete collection I own. I'm still missing the #'d insert s/t 7" and all the test pressings.
  2. So this record is on a turquoise mush and black?
  3. So the CD master sounded good on vinyl? No distortion or noticeable issues?
  4. yea, you generally have separate masterings done for each Thanks, that's what I thought. My old band is putting out both a CD and 7", and they were unsure if a separate mastering was necessary for the vinyl.
  5. I'm going to piggyback on this thread and ask another vinyl pressing question. If you want to press an album on vinyl and CD you need separate mixes/masters for each format, right?
  6. Anybody feeling generous and willing to sell me a copy for a fair price?
  7. Picked up only one copy. My friend who was obsessed with this album in high school will be stoked to hear that they found some more copies.
  8. I'll pay good bucks for that Fat Club 7" or let me know if there's anything on my list. Did they have any others on this list: http://vinylcollective.proboards79.com/index.cgi?board=sale&action=display&thread=1199926148 ? Definitely had 'On The Cover' 2x10 with a somewhat beat up and signed cover. I'll probably be there within the week and can see if they still have it.
  9. The record store near me had a bunch of old MXPX records. I picked up a sea foam green 'Punk Rawk Show' and a Fat Club 7". Both records are signed by the band and one includes a hand-written note from the guys. I've never been a fan, but I thought they might be good to trade. Anyone interested?
  10. Why do so many people hate on interpunk? I've never had any problems with them over years. oh and I don't care much for their inflated shipping charges. Have you ever seen how much shipping goes up when you add a button or sticker? There's no way to justify an extra $1.25 for an item that weighs under an ounce.
  11. Before recordnerd went down and I stopped keeping track of new records, I had about 320.
  12. Mystery solved! It's a wingbat from a common font you can find for free on the internet. Both the record player and this design are characters from this font. I'll try to find the name of the it when I get the chance.
  13. This was discussed earlier in this thread: http://vinylcollective.proboards79.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=1195953393&page=1 ...and no one was quite sure on the authenticity of these different colors. Previous QOTSA albums have been bootlegged so I don't think it would be that odd to have knockoffs of this gem.
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silk_screen EX: The graphic tee you're probably wearing was screen printed.
  15. Sorry for bumping this post but I thought it was better than starting a new thread. Could someone kindly post a pic of the '...is dead' 3rd pressing? I just want to know if one of the copies I have is light splotchy grey.
  16. The same thing happened with my Propagandhi Potekmin City Limits from G7. The shipping box was trashed and inside the gatefold was a mess. They were willing to ship me a replacement for the cost of shipping from Canada, which I was okay with. When the new one arrived the box and sleeves were damaged in the same way, so like you, I just gave up.
  17. I concur. Each episode is so jam-packed with jokes that it takes a couple viewings to catch 'em all.
  18. I was pretty sure no one cared about CKY anymore since the height of their popularity was about 4 years ago. Imagine how surprised I was when I recently sold a signed CKY volume 2 2xCD for $225.
  19. Regular, I believe. I know it's not clear. Where would the number be? The number would be on the bottom right-hand corner of the insert and it's out of #150.
  20. Great deal, considering I paid $4 for mine when I saw them back in 2003. Clear, numbered, or regular insert?
