I'm with the CD doomsayers, the medium will be dead before too much longer, at least for NEW sales. Late adopters will suddenly find CD libraries for incredibly cheap. Those into digital sound will buy it online (now that the norm is to offer CD quality or above on digital albums). Those who dig the physical product like us will do the vinyl-only thing. Better aesthetic, artwork, and information all the way around for those who demand the complete package (especially now that most come with extras like online codes, t-shirts, etc.). No way in hell I'd spend $15.99 on a CD when I can get it digital for cheap or spend a few bucks more and get the vinyl + the digital version.

Cool. It's hard to know what to think when you see some things pressed once and never again, then something else pressed a dozen times in 14 flavors (well, besides "I have to have them ALL" if it's a band you really like). How does a repress come about, under what conditions, etc.?

Just started collecting and I'm already dreading this scenario. I read all over the internet about vinyl is the middle of a comeback of sorts (2.8 million sold in 2010), who's to say the OOP stuff I just dropped a few benjamins on won't be repressed in time for Xmas?

I'm doing what I should have done a while ago considering I've barely touched it in a year or so. For the would-be Xbox 360 gamers, I offer the following for sale, all in near mint condition, shoot me an offer if you're interested. 1 - Xbox360 Arcade Unit, w/ 20GB HD (this is the one with the Falcon chip and smaller power brick that does not RRoD. I searched for this version for this purpose) 2 - White Microsoft Wireless Controllers 1 - Microsoft Play and Charge Kit 1 - Microsoft Wireless Adapter 1 - Standard Microsoft Headset/Mic Combo 1 - original Rock Band Guitar 1 - original Rock Band Drumset w/ pedal 2 - Guitar Hero Xplorer guitars (came out when GH2 hit the 360) Games: Halo 2 (Xbox version) Halo 3 Halo Reach Grand Theft Auto IV Guitar Hero II Guitar Hero III Rock Band Marvel Ultimate Alliance/Forza 2 I have original boxes for everything but the Rock Band Gear. I'd need to ship the drums and guitar loose in the box with everything else. The Guitar Hero guitars have their boxes, as do the games and system.

My wife happens to be addicted to cheese pizza from Papa John's, which I happen to despise, but their online ordering has always been tops. Also never had problems with Dominos or Donato's. Just a shame that the really GREAT pizza places around here don't have online ordering. I love it.
