  1. Ordered all 3 Colors to have a couple available for any homies who may have missed out. Rad. Wonder how those prices/bids are doing on eBay.
  2. This thread has been a real eye-opener. Wowzers.
  3. I'm trying, I really am, but even the local crowd is gouging on these. Sad part is I had TWO PAIR of these back in my DJing days and had to sell them in the early 2000s when I got a "real job" (don't get me started on that tangent). Dear Matsushita, want SL-1200 repress!!
  4. Psyched about this, to my wife and kids' chagrin. Mwaha!
  5. Sorry if I seem dense, but are these priced as listed or does the discount appear at checkout?
  6. Just about 30 minutes left gamers, bumpily bump. (also see other auctions for guitar hero swag)
  7. Ok, so you (whoever you are) may have sniped Bloody Kisses out from under my nose as I slept (aka recovered from Labor Day weekend), but I just snagged Perdition City so HAH! Not sure why I'm posting this as it will likely decrease my chances of winning Marrow on blue, but this is a great distro so hopefully it'll get more sales his way. Thanks again!
  8. I'd consider them at least as well known as plenty of other artists/bands around here. Dance of the Manatee off their first album got alternative radio play and that album had a vinyl issue. It's unusual that this one does not.
  9. By the way, the band sent refunds or new t-shirts to make up for the issue (a download of the album was included prior). Classy move by a great band. No idea why this "label" did what it did. Dreaming of a vinyl press someday that sounds better than the CD...Joe's House of Compression compressed this one too much for my tastes. Clipping like a mofo. Shame too because the songs are great.
  10. Just stopping by to say - as someone who pre-ordered Arrows & Anchors - I'd love to see this happen.
  11. Really cool of you to do, actually. I've had my eye on a few things over there since picking up those Baroness albums a couple weeks back. A chance at this would be a nice bonus.
  12. I DJed before I sold my soul to the corporate devil. I BPMed everything and made a skeleton setlist for each of the hours of the set. Then, when someone requests anything, you know straight away if you can blend it in where you are or if you'll have to do something more creative. However, based on what you're spinning (if the poster is accurate), I think quick fades or even hard cuts on downbeats will suit you just fine. I recall the first time or two being real nervous, just limit your exposure to mistakes by keeping it simple as someone else mentioned and you'll do great. Good luck!
  13. Just checked again, and yes...I just paid $50 to ship albums from Europe to here. Sober. Which itself is sobering. Should be cool though.
  14. Took a while, but I finally got around to posting this on eBay, minus the Rock Band/Guitar Hero II & III controllers/games. I still have those if anyone is interested in just them. Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170690963239#ht_3734wt_1139
  15. Like a kidney...or lung...or soul. Something like that. Ha! Indeed! Heh.
  16. Currently hitting F5...so expensive, but just might pull the trigger.
  17. OF COURSE they are, because I finally shelled out $150 to get it last week. Eff Murphy and his law.
  18. Just read a lot of this and I'm in awe of the amount of time this person has on their hands to be such a jerk to people. Wow.
