Thanks for all the great input guys! I decided to not do the treatment. I moved all the records to my buddies place and he said he can't smell smoke on them at all, after 2 days. So I think it will be all good. Once again, thank you for all the replies, and yes, apartment fire, the band, does in fact suck. Lol!

I def have Renter's insurance. But they were not that close to the fire, so hear is not an issue. Just soot and slight smell. I think I'm gonna refuse the ozone treatment. I don't want to run the risk of warping.

Hey guys/ladies, Had a fire in my apartment two nights ago. Luckily both me and my roommate were fine, just some smoke inhalation and what not. My question is, what to do about smoke damage to my collection. They were all in there sleeves and in a cabinet. A small amount of soot made it into the cabinet. I am very hesitant to let the cleaning company put them in the ozone tent(even though they swear its not bad for them). I would rather have my records smell like fire slightly them run the chance of ruining them. Interested in your thoughts and opinions on the matter. I have till Monday to decide. Thank you all in advance.

Wasn't trying to "track him down" I have been looking for the blue/purple variant of Mutiny! for a long time now, and I tired buying it from RJ over ebay last year and he never sent the record. The descriptions were the exact same as RJ's from last year so I posted this more as a warning to other people/ to see if anyone could confirm. Once again, why I was asking, and not badgering. thanks.

The reason why I post this is because he has the exact same descriptions for the SYG records that I was going to buy from him last year before he scammed me. It all seemed a little more than a coincidence..... Hence why I asked instead of spamming what an a*hole he is.
