chowder-schnitzel legit made me laugh so hard. bhahaha. Dunno about the schnitzel bit...Bought 3 records from him, 2 arrived (all $100+) one is still 'in the mail', seems to take 2 weeks to post hence the delay and comms are awful but so far I got my stuff... What is the background on him? EDIT: Turns out one I thought that was from him was in fact from DC..so I am waiting on 2 and he is no longer reg'd with 6 negs..pisser! If you are waiting file a claim, seems there are more in that situation...

Apart from the fact that a pressing plant will make you sign a waiver that you own the copyright. If you don't own the copyright they won't touch it. If they do there is also a term for it: Bootleg (regardless of how many you do) I would be surprised if you can find a plant that does this. And contrary to popular belief, it is not the same as copying a back-up of a bought record onto CD-R as you use commercial replication equipment and the process alone falls outside of what can reasonably be accepted (in legal terms) as back-up to protect your original copy. Sorry for bursting bubbles but this is financially expensive, legally questionable and practically almost impossible.

I can see what you saying, but maybe that guy from the UK is one of the good guys. Check his ebay account maybe the name is the same and check his feedback. That will give you some idea... In the end it is darn difficult to build up reputation, and ebay has not helped itself with the new feedback system. But on private trades on forums such as this or the Wiki it is a plunge into cold water for both sides, unless you trawl all the threads for recommendations.... tricky, but if in doubt send it registered, I am sure your UK buyer agrees as it is in both your interest. IMHO
