The Walmart sale is over, it was like a pre-Black Friday thing. 

I don’t understand why they used the same cover for the exclusive Stevie Nicks 2LP as the 6LP.

I didn’t know it was a sale either and then when I was there I thought it was only Walmart exclusives or I would have scored some other stuff on my want list.

Ahhh thanks for that!!  I wondered what made it a Walmart exclusive since it wasn’t colored, I couldn’t find any description etc

The Stevie Nicks  Stand Back box is now listed as $30 if you can find one in a store. $50 to order online

Got a bunch of stuff also, new exclusive red AC/DC, Guns n Roses Hits splatter, J5 Ultimate (2 colors).. 

I saw they had Stevie Nicks 6LP box listed online as well but all my stores were sold out.  Electronics guy said he wondered why people were buying 30-40 albums at a time and stacks of the same titles. The J5 is on discogs for 200 bucks LOL. 
seems the sale is over now. 

If I wasn’t getting the Pink Floyd stuff Friday I would have bought more titles. Was still a lot of good stuff in the rack and a special cardboard stand, surprisingly.

Mine arrived at the local USPS early Friday. Usually it would have gone out for delivery but didn’t. I assumed it’d be delivered Saturday but again- nope, and I didn’t check until it was too late to pick it up. Expected delivery is Monday.

Same. It did say June 19 when ordered but got UPS tracking # today. 
They canceled my Dusty Springfield from another order tho, which I sampled on YouTube  after I ordered. That’s one I’m NOT disappointed won’t be arriving.

When I ordered Nick Drake last night it said it wasn’t expected ship until June 19.

I’ve ordered regular editions and been surprised a few times to get limited variants. 

I had a cart full of about 6 other titles (Hellraiser 2&3, Silence of The Lambs, Lost, Black Panther) but dumped them for this after listening.

Mine came yesterday, all perfect and was surprised The Cult was the pink although it’s opaque pink and not even close to Music On Vinyl’s pre-production pics, as usual. Still cool.

would have grabbed some more but planning to spend a chunk on a big local sale next week.

they’re saying 500 exclusive color variants with animated slipmat, 250 of which are allocated to autographed bundles with hoodies etc starting at $160, and 50 test pressings ($300!). The other 250 available separately (with slipmat) for $38 shipped or with T-shirt/CD bundles.  Shipping June 7th

Will be sweet if it actually turned out as pictured but I suspect that record is gonna look like pea soup diarrhea in reality, and might look half that nice when held up to a lightbulb. 

Code received, just ordered Son Little’s New Magic blue vinyl  (And a $1 pin since a zero balance order wouldn’t go thru).

Ordered 4 albums delivered this week also (also including those Zombies albums) in addition to the MOV 180g Audioslave (also stated on invoice) but received the 2017 150g Legacy press. Seems both are out of stock now. 

I did email the mistake but said no need to return or exchange even though I favor the MOV pressings in general, I’ll give the Legacy a shot. 

I received an apology the next morning. 

Anyone compare the two pressings and prefer one over the other? 

Also, the box took quite a beating but their extra-edge package design took the brunt as there wasn’t a single ding or split in the set of 2 doubles and 2 single LPs.

Not trying to tell you what to post but some of us are willing to live on bologna  for a couple weeks to buy records because our love of music and records is second only to oxygen, and due to our malnourishment we are occasionally forgetful and fuck up. 

Icky Thump X was my first and only vault purchase. Then a friend bought the Boarding House Reach vault and it didn’t come in a box. I thought all the vaults came in boxes so was like WTF you paid $60 for a different cover and 45 adapter, albeit 10x better cover art, and didn’t get a BOX???  Makes sense if they all came in boxes people would need a ridiculous amount of shelf space for them. Now I know how much more special Icky Thump X really is cuz that’s a sweet ass box! 

For $60 bucks tho.. I want a box to keep all that other crap together.
