- Showers are key. Have two or three for different groups of friends. We are at 8 months now, and have probably only bought 4 cases of diapers to date. Showers had our nursery walls stacked to the ceiling with diapers. Also, ask for size 2s at the shower. Everyone will think to buy size 1, and then you'll have a ton of leftovers. - I second the lactation consultant. We had a place in Bloomington called BABS that was awesome. Went in for a 2 hour sit down that cost us a whopping $15, and a lady watched Sparrow nurse and gave pointers. Have the mama get involved with a local nursing circle or something of that sort for support. It helps a ton with the mom's confidence, the baby's confidence, and it makes things WAY less stressful for you at home (ie your wife won't be depressed or crazy due to concerns with nursing). Being a dad is easy if you care. My buddy said it best when he said "There are lots of dudes with kids, but not all of them are dads." The lack of sleep is totally worth the end result.

Hey all - I haven't been as active on the boards recently. Sorry about that. I have my ThunderbeardRecords.com emails forwarded to my personal e-mail. I saw that a few of you had e-mailed me from this thread, but hadn't received anything. In some cases, it appears that the forwarding wasn't working. In other cases, the e-mails were labeled as spam? It makes me feel good to know that none of you have thrown the "scam" or "shady" terms out yet. I am obviously not looking to bank on items that haven't been shipped out, especially when I'm selling records for $5. Thoughtsky - I swear Germany's postal service hates me at this point. I don't understand why nothing I send you gets to you! PM me your paypal address and I will get you refunded. I have a feeling that in 2016 you are going to get 3 record mailers delivered to your door and you're going to laugh. Anyone else that hasn't received their order overseas, hit me with a PM on here and I will get back to you ASAP with refunds as well as reshipped packages. Worst case scenario you will get free records in a few weeks. I love this community, and I hate that a few orders got lost/never arrived. My reputation is at stake, so I want you all to have a means of reaching me that is sure-fire. I work this evening, but will respond to PMs from the 4 of you that have posted in here when I get home this evening. 100% agreed. Same with the One Direction video. The kids are lucky to have parents with turntables or at least be interested in the vinyl format. The original video was at least something the Youtuber should have been embarrassed about.

I can actually weigh in on this. For the record, I searched "The Office" in the search bar, because I was looking for a thread about the TV show because I'm watching it On Demand and I miss tuning in once a week for as long as I did. Anywho, last August, I was riding a bicycle home from my friend's house at about 1:30am. I stopped off at our favorite pub along the way. I was inebriated before I even got to the pub. More so when I left. I bit the dust on my bike next to our town's local guitar shop. I don't remember how it happened, but basically I braced myself with my right foot, and when the foot hit the grass I heard three loud POPs. Thank God I was drunk, because it probably hurt a lot more than I remember. I managed to use the fear of the cops to get back on the bike, but only pedaled with my left foot. When I got home and got off my bike, I literally couldn't stand up so I had to crawl up my stoop and to the couch. The next day, my foot was swollen about as much as yours. I had a friend with crutches, and I had no health insurance, so I just let time heal. It has been 9 months, and I still have pain in my right foot. I think I fractured it in a few spots and it healed wrong. It's more of a discomfort than a pain, but if you have insurance, go get that stuff fixed right. I wish I could go back and do it right. I now have a fear of bikes.

They should have a million variants of The Everglow. That would rule.

I will be working on a bunch of new albums this year to help "build a brand" and try again in the future. I was surprised at the response. Sparrow Sleeps has some interesting opportunities in the coming months. I'll keep you posted on any news. Thanks for everyone that was willing to financially support.
