yeah, i noticed that it's not on the list anymore, who was it a split with again? and i am actually relieved because now i have plans to be in a band called team beer. and gristlejaw - i think we either traded or talked about trading live CDRs a few years back. we still should as i remember you having some stuff i was after!

wanna go buy one and hook me up? i just decided yesterday (through the wonderful myspace page) that i want to get Planet of Ice, and i'm not interested in collecting the variants, but rather getting as low a pressing as possible without paying a lot.

anyone have or know where to get some of his lps? i only have devotion + doubt (on CD), but i'd be into getting anything.

first of all, humans are not designed to be omnivores. if you look this up you'll find that our teeth are flat and meant for chomping/grinding (ie vegetation), vs carnivores who have sharp teeth for tearing and ripping. additionally, humans must cook any meat that is ingested in order to pass it through our systems. our stomach acids are not strong enough to digest it, so it basically rots. try eating a diet of raw meat and see what happens to you. as for the pet thing, your point would be valid if: 1. cats and dogs chose to be domesticated by humans. so since we did this on our own, we are now responsible for them loosing a lot of their natural instincts and must provide food for them (sure, they can last in the wild, but cats have about a 2 yr life expectancy when on their own). and 2. if you were arguing a cat's "natural" foods (field mice, birds, etc) vs any processed pet food, then that would make sense. but your pet gets 0 meat they'd naturally eat from standard pet foods (chicken by-products, fish, cow, assholes, elbows, etc). they get the same nutrients from vegan food as they do from non-vegan food, so it makes perfect sense, and is quite the opposite of silly, that an owner who chooses a compassionate lifestyle would make this choice for their pet since they are the one buying the food. and as you know, your dollar is your vote.

they had 2: 'no conversation' which i believe is their 1st release, and a s/t 2 song 7" which is more sleepytime trio influenced (and rules).

while you're updating, add some "|" or "" or ( ) to break that up some too, otherwise people (or maybe just me) won't take the time to look through it. you don't want to cause "crazy eyes", now do you?

I started building mine this past weekend too.. mine is about 5-1/2 feet wide and will end up being 7-8' tall. I will tell you that any span over 3' will need a piece of front molding (like a 1x2). I added vertical supports at the halfway point (roughly 31") and that seems to be enough support for the weight of the records so far. I'll be finishing friday, so I'll post a picture for what it's worth.

I do. dogs can easily live on a vegan diet and if I had dogs I would feed them a vegan diet. I have cats however and although you can feed them an all vegan diet it is not really healthy for cats to live that way. I do make sure to feed them food made from companies that do not do any animal testing. I have been feeding my cats Evolution brand catfood for 4 years with zero problems at all. I did make sure to make the change gradually, and i do mix some greens, etc in about once a month. one important thing to remember is with meat by-product foods, they are so overly processed that they lose most of their nutrients, thus making it necessary for the pet food co. to put them back in after the fact. so the difference ends up being: 1. feed them meat by-product pet food with taurine, etc put back in at the end, or 2. feed them vegan food with synthetic taurine. but i regress.. I LOVE AND WILL SHARE MY AMAZING VEGAN MAC & CHEESE RECIPE!!!!!!
