Saw Spotlight and The Danish Girl: both very good.
Excited to see 10 Cloverfield Lane. <3 Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

BOTAR is all on their label. Doubt that'll get stopped.
Also I'm sure it's flying under their radar at Victory.
That album is on their label, but Victory technically owns the songs "Dear Sergio" and "Here's to Life." Part of the lawsuit between the band and label is that Victory is asserting Tomas has infringed on their copyright of all SM/ Catch-22 songs releasing "Streetlight Lullabies" and The Hand That Thieves" without them getting any of the profits.
I doubt this will be under the radar when there's a team of lawyers scrutinizing everything Tomas/ SM is doing.

Stoked to hear the unreleased song and alternate version of "Lowly Carpenter."
-
Considering each of these releases has songs technically "owned" by Victory, there is a possibility that this will get blocked and scrapped like the last Toh Kay album did. I bought both, but for those who are choosing to wait, that's probably not a bad idea.

Call in Lenny Lashley!
Fucking love Lenny.
Homeboy used a flag as a weapon?! This is why you only visit Anaheim for the Chain Reaction or Disneyland, then promptly get the hell outta there.

I liked Deadpool but there were a couple of little things that disappointed me. I won't say anything because lots of folks still haven't seen it and they're little details anyway. Its definitely good though! Worth every penny.

You say that...but there are plenty of instances in the batman franchise alone where he's not punching dudes' heads through floors or throwing them across entire rooms and breaking walls. It's a legitimate question as to why the made him seem as though he has super powers.
Oh no, I was being facetious! I'm totally with you. I'm a huge Batman fan and it's really silly that he basically has superpowers here. Especially considering later in the trailer he talks about being old, meaning he was even stronger and faster before.
My response was that comic book movies tend to do stupid shit that don't make any sense for a character or even for an entire franchise for the sake of "making it look cool." I wasn't trying to say "because superheroes."
-
But...why is batman so strong even when he's fighting those thugs without his special super suit on...?
Because comic book movies.
Best looking trailer so far.

Hoping to go see it this weekend!
Looking back to page one, is there really going to be another Fantastic 4? Wasn't the last one even worse than the ones from 2005 and 2007?

Just got my Spongebob record in the mail, but the insert was damaged and unintelligible.
Should I ask for a refund?

I've been playing Arkham Knight and am absolutely loving it. Maybe a little bit too much Batmobile in places (much prefer gliding, it's so much cooler), but it's pretty good!
Also it was my birthday over the weekend and for a bit of fun my friend gave me THPS5. I'd heard about how awful it was, but that they'd released an 8gb patch to fix it. I had no idea how it would be but it's a hell of a lot better than the videos I've seen "pre-patch"! I mean it won't beat the original games but it's good mindless fun.
Haven't played it yet (heard how not very good it was), but I'm glad to hear it's at least a little better with the patch. Those games have such a special place in my heart. Plus Lizzie Armanto deserves all the royalty money she can get.

Years ago Plan B came to a local shop for a demo. It was raining and really crappy outside. The who team stayed in their van, except for Rodney Mullen. He skated in the rain, blew everyone's minds and hung out with everyone. solid dude.
Seeing him back in the Plan B days..... Damn!
-
did they change their name?
-
Rodney's boards belong in the computer room, considering his brain is a super computer.

Still eh on this. I don't know how you top Nolan Batman.... The trailer looked cool until Wonder Woman poped up. Too many super heroes for one flick.
I don't think anyone is expecting it to be better than any of the Nolan films. I highly doubt any of the DCCU stuff will be as good as the weakest of the three DK: Rises.
I definitely back Wonder Woman being in it and Gal Godot seems right on for the role. I don't back Jesse Eisenberg though. He's the low point of the trailer to me.

That's true, but now that the lawsuit has been invoked, I think they now care about screwing the band in every possible way. In the past, they didn't care about the self released CD's, but now, all of this can be used as an argument for their case. On pages 4 and 5 of the complaint, they claim the rights to the C-22 and SM songs (http://www.scribd.com/doc/298806254/Victory-Records-Complaint-Against-Tomas-Kalnoky-and-Streetlight-Manifesto).
And on pages 8 and 9 they claim the Toh Kay releases are a breach of contract for re-recording/ releasing songs they "own." Following that same logic, I think these releases are possibly in danger.
I have some experience in this type of law, but I'm no lawyer so how I read it isn't necessarily right. That's just my take.
