I've been given the option to return it for a full refund, and they'll cover the shipping costs, or keep it and take a 20 pound refund or a 30 pound store credit. What would you do?
Return that ish.

There's plenty more differences than that, plus your theory on saving money on a specific area without color isn't true haha. As I said above, someone clearly re-designed the entire layout, almost all of the text is a different font face, size, spacing, but still super close.
What are you talking about? Full color printing is more expensive than black and white? That's all I was saying.
-
Looks like they just went with all black and white instead of the red spots and color photos. Probably to save some money on printing costs?

Not till Feb
Thanks was that on the bandcamp site? I missed that lol
-
Has anyone received the vinyl yet?
-
I had a copy of Take This to Your Grave that had a completely different artist on side B. Unfortunately I don't think this kind of thing makes it worth more.
-
PM me if you want to buy my Direct Hit! Half Red/Half Green LP. Comes with slipmat.
-
Thanks dude. Ordered the black but hoping I can find a clear down the line.
-
Really bummed I missed this. Hoping someone might be able to help me out.
-
Was the only shipping option nearly $12 for everyone else?
-
-
Looks to be sold out now but it's kind of weird it was on their bandcamp and not on the official FR webstore. If I had to guess more copies will be available eventually.
-
Both songs are great as usual but I think I prefer the live version of "No One Changes"

Is it just me or is there no Hold Steady store on their website either?

Got my vinyl the other day but went in on my first listen this morning. Cursive is back baby!

Still showing as 62 CAD for me. Oh well.

Well, go ahead and self-label yourself an asshole; I was merely inferring illogical entitlement.
Maybe when your own record company establishes an office in another country you'll realize that doesn't automatically mean and certainly in no way obliges you to open up a brick-and-mortar store housing and distributing physical product (as opposed to A&R).
Because debating the issue with me as opposed to directly emailing the label is certainly the more productive method of registering your belief that "based in" means "must have a store/storefront".
Sorry I complained about this as I know as a Canadian you must pay extra for records coming from the states.

Every Canadian indie label that you happen to like one artist from should set up shop (in today's Canadian-hostile American market, no less) just so that you alone get to save some $$$ on shipping [insert 50 eyeroll emojis here].
Hey Bud,
Dine Alone Records is a Canadian independent record label, founded in St. Catharines and Toronto by Joel Carriere. The label is now based in Toronto, Nashville and Los Angeles.
Only reason I said that. Some bigger labels have multiple stores for different countries, but sure single me out like I'm an asshole because I don't want to pay $50 for an LP

So $47.24 shipped after converting from CAD to USD. Still too much for me right now unfortunately. Would Dine Alone combine shipping for this and Say Anything you think?
