So why would I pay more to get the white from SRC when you can still get it from pylon?

Hell yeah, Robert Zombie

Sometimes you can ask the submitter/contributors in the comments on discogs to add info. Give it a shot... http://www.discogs.com/history?release=622155#latest

Just compared the Atlantic vs Infectious. The Infectious is definitely better than the US version, a little clearer with more low end. It still doesn't sound as good as the CD though. The white vinyl feels a little heavier. The Infectious pressing would be the one to go for if you want this on vinyl.

That's a huge bummer. I just dropped close to $48 on a Yellow copy on ebay solely because I was expecting it to sound better than my Peach HT pressing...
It does sound better, but it could still be better than it is. The difference between my peach pressing and the gold is very noticeable to me.
-
Compared the gold pressing to the HT Peach/Tan marble pressing. The HT pressing has lots of background noise and sounds like it is being played through a 1990s plastic GPX boombox, hollow. The Gold pressing is very clear and bright sounding, almost a bit too bright at times. I picked up a little bit of clipping/distortion on the vocals. The gold pressing also seems to lack a little bit on the low end compared to the CD. Overall, this new pressing sounds a million times better than the HT pressing I have and I am very happy with it.

did they come in those black pvc bags like the previous copies?
Yes, same release. Bought one awhile ago. Same black sleeve, same pressing.

question: does every pressing run at 45rpm? I heard from someone that the 3rd pressing ran at 33rpm. Just curious.
The 4th pressing is 33rpm, the rest are 45. No word on what this new one will be yet...
First Pressing:
* 2000 copies total, sold out prior to US release date.
500 - clear with magenta splatter
500 - clear with silver splatter
500 - white with silver splatter
500 - solid silver
Second Pressing:
* 1000 copies total, shipping early October 2007. Has since sold out.
500 - clear with gold splatter (tour exclusive)
500 - solid white
Third Pressing:
1000 copies total, made available in 2008 after 2nd pressing sold out.
500 - coke bottle blue
500 - baby pink
Fourth pressing:
* 1000 copies total, made available in 2010.
500 - clear granite
500 - clear w/ purple splash

So will this be 45rpm like the original issues, or 33rpm like the last pressing from 2010 that sounded like butt compared to the 45rpm issues?
Will also be curious if there is really any difference in this "remaster" compared to the originals...

Looks pretty nice, excited to see/hear the yellow. I agree with everyone else about the HT version too. Mine is warped, pressed off center, and really sounds like crap compared to the CD.

Is this label based outside of the US?
Looks like they may be Australian according to their domain whois http://whois.net/whois/obscurealternatives.net
Pylon Records may also be Australian, though part of the info says its from California http://whois.net/whois/pylonrecords.com
I see FM Muzik Inc mentioned there as well

How long would you suggest? I've never tried this before. Would you say a few days? A week? From what I read online, it suggested putting it near outside but not directly in it? I really don't know. :/
If you can play it, I wouldn't try a thing. If it is beyond playable, then try something. Some people have luck with 2 sheets of glass and a warm oven/sunlight. It is very easy to ruin your record though.
Also, looks like there are some black copies out there too? http://www.ebay.com/itm/V-A-Lost-In-Translation-Soundtrack-LP-NEW-VINYL-unofficial-OST-Kevin-Shields-My-/201103801728
Green and Blue are also up right now

Only because discogs makes it so easy to see that info, otherwise I wouldn't have a clue.

Meanwhile....
ebay hurts my head sometimes.

180 gram isnt going to make it sound any better. A crappy master is a crappy master, doesnt matter how heavy the vinyl is. EOTS was never mastered with audiophiles in mind, its a pop punk record that was insanely popular. I doubt anyone wants to bother properly remastering it for vinyl

Wish I would have come here before buying Lateralus today. It's NOISY! Schism, my favorite song on the record, is almost unbearable. Never will I buy a picture disc again, unless it's the Joy Division one, which I'm going to use a decor in my manroomcavestorage area. Balls. Anyway, my copy of Undertow sound great.
Mine sounds alright, not super noisy, not amazing. however side B is pressed/glued way off center, causing major pitch changes as the arm sways...

My one peeve with MOV. Those sleeves suck.
I usually just end up cutting out the sticker with scissors and throwing it into the sleeve, and using a normal poly outersleeve

Man, I'm glad I don't follow Cedric on Twitter, he seems annoying as fuck.
Yeah... I never realized what an immature twat he is, especially for being 39 years old.

Eh, didn't have Temples or Lucius yet, ordered from Amazon. Definitely would've got Courtney Barnett if I hadn't already overpaid for the import version before it was released in the US....
