  1. yoooooo 4 Rivers is soo fucking good. possibly the best bbq joint I've ever been to. I'm from Orlando but don't live there anymore, anytime I'm home though I get my fix. Just went to 4 Rivers BBQ... So. Freakin. Good. I literally wanted to order everything on the menu. Great recommendation!! +1 to both of you when I get home.
  2. Definitely in. I already do a radio show back home and just upload my tracks to a server... I'd be willing to help w/ any editing things if this turns out to be bigger than expected.
  3. Dude, I just checked out the You Blew It! music video on the event page... I'm totally digging this! I'll definitely be there.
  4. I headed to Park Ave CD's today around 6:30pm... finally left the store at 8:45pm. I literally spent over two hours in the store looking through their stock / talking to the "vinyl guy" about the Pro-Ject Debut III and why I should get a better turntable. I was surprised that they carried the Pro-Ject line, and the guy literally gave me a class in everything to do with record players. I just started collecting about 6 months ago, so it was nice for someone to take a full hour out of his day to teach me a bunch of stuff that I don't know. He seemed stoked just to be able to give someone else the knowledge in all honesty. All the dudes there were super rad... I see myself spending a lot of time and money in that store. They also said I show up no later than 7am for RSD. I've heard good things about The Social... I'll definitely check that place out. Same with Rock and Roll Heaven. What I'm looking for are the good hole in the wall bars/pubs/restaurants that I should go to. Any recommendations?
  5. that was what it was Somebody comes out of the store, somebody goes in and once you got in, it was packed I'm planning on making a trip there this weekend just so I can check it out and ask them how they're going to work on the 21st. I don't want to be the n00b who doesn't understand how things work on my first RSD.
  6. I was actually checking out your store the other day and I assumed that we had some music things in common (plus the element 101 / strongarm / I Need T&N thing). Definitely let me know if you're playing/going to any shows around the area. I'm always down for a good show and I don't mind a little bit of a drive. I've known her for literally 4 days... I don't want to seem like a creep right off the bat, but I'll see what I can do.
  7. So I just moved to Orlando (technically Winter Park) and I wanted to see which of my new VC friends were gonna be out at Park Ave on RSD. I don't know anyone down here, other than my cute 21 year old neighbor, so I thought I'd see who else is in the area. Check out my trade list and you can see the kind of music I'm into. I'll definitely be at a lot of shows down here.
  8. The entire Pedro The Lion discography is being released on vinyl this year. I made a post about it a few weeks back after I talked to Dave about it at a local house show. Pretty stoked on that.
  9. This is something that has redeemed SRC a little bit in my eyes. They shouldn't have taken him on in the first place, but it was good of them to offer refunds / store credit +10%.
  10. Great seller! Super quick shipment! Buy from this dude!
  11. I would buy ANYTHING that is As Cities Burn related. I wish they would just let someone press their discography already... I'd also buy The Moon is Down in a heartbeat. I got into vinyl too late in the game to grab things like The Moon is Down and Beneath Medicine Tree by Copeland without having to drop some decent $$$ for it.
  12. $230 for the Michigan test press, $262 for the Bon Iver test Press, over $325 for the For Emma, Forever Ago test press... heck, even $150 for a 24x24 print of the Bon Iver cover art. I wish I could afford some of those things too! But you're right, it's awesome that a lot of money is being raised for this. Definitely shows that people care, and I think it's even more awesome that all of those people donated those items. All hope is not yet lost in the human race.
  13. @somethingtobreak I'll end up adding most everyone on this list over time. It just takes a hot minute to type in everyones name.
  14. Same for me. Threw in an extra vinyl and the records were packaged incredibly secure. Great dude!
  15. Say what you want about yocasycasey, but the dude packages his records like tanks and then puts cute little pink elephant stickers on them. Buy from him!
  16. Last bump. If they don't go this weekend, they'll be wasted.
  17. Somebody buy these! I'll bring the price down to $30ppd for them. Just looking to help someone see this show.
  18. I just moved to Winter Park this past week. Is Park Ave the "best" spot for RSD in Orlando. I don't really want to drive around the whole city to like 4 different shops, just to find out that none of them have the collection that Park Ave has.
  19. I'm guessing it will definitely bite you in the ass. TEN has never released anything bad, and neither has Ace with his solo stuff. Dude writes some jams! Dang it... You're right. I want to hear this before hand, but when I think of everything Ace has done since TEN, I'm sure that it won't disappoint me. Guess I'll be putting in an order anyways.
  20. yeah i caved, i was going to hold out, but i bought the 25 bundle. i mean most shirts nowadays cost 25 bucks. plus you're getting a poster and a vinyl. That's what I thought, but then add a $2 for a poster tube (maybe I'm just anal, but I don't like folded posters) and $10 for shipping and you're looking at almost $40. I'd like to hear what they sound like if I'm going to drop $40 on them.
  21. Probably not AS much, but I do enjoy With Honor. Found out about them after I saw Comeback Kid play on their Wake the Dead tour. Someone told me if I liked WTD that I'd definitely enjoy With Honor. They were right.
  22. I'm playing with O'brother right now. I don't think we're on all three Nashville shows. Just the first two. Oh, rad dude! My tickets are for the late show, which really bums me out because I've never seen you guys. If I end up going, I would much rather go to the 3pm show so I can see you guys as well... but I'm not having any luck with selling them OR w/ switching them for the early show.
  23. No worries. I'm beyond stoked to freaking play at these shows. Wait... I need more info. What band are you with? And are you playing the Nashville show to?
