Yup. Same pattern. Two preorder variants, tour, retail, probably Europe as well being that IIOI already has the connection over thereThere is probably a retail variant / IIRC Dealer only had two variants for pre order (black and white) totally 800 and then there was a green retail variant
Yeah, already tweeted about a EU preorder
-
I bet there's gonna be Euro Banquet variants too
-
I'm just waiting for them to finally get the rights/permission to repress Demon Days and lower that shipping for them to declare them one of the most improved labels over time.
Not a label, they're just a distributor like hot topic is, they don't press records
-
this album is now one of my favorites of all time, so ridiculous good
-
Song better than anything on the last record

I wish I disrespected most people I know enough to post screenshots of conversations, i rarely see anything positive about them except from tumblr kids and this thread lol
Most people I know (who don't just know him from music, and actually used to like him and are still friends with lots of the people who have contributed to the band) can't stand him anymore
-
Damn dude give it a rest. idk why it matters so much to you personally?
And TS with MWY obviously makes sense since they're both put out through rfc last year. Mwy + say anything makes some level of sense I guess, idk. TS + Say anything is a little weird imo, but I'm sure it'll give ts/sam a whole slew of new 13-17yo old fans which will be great for his career longterm; can't complain even if I don't wanna see say anything again in 2016. hm.
Musically it all makes sense. But it's the same scenario as Elvis on the Front Bottoms tour, heard he called that the worst touring experience of his life. The personalities of the band don't make sense with the other bands
-
Casey, you're making yourself look incredibly stupid. I am not the only person who thinks this. You should really stop.
why should that really matter to me though? I'm very happy expressing my opinions on an Internet forum, plenty of people agree with me too, it's not like I'm the one dissenting opinion of the matter or anything
-
If you're a public figure you need to be accepting of criticism
-
Is there any way Sam enjoys a night of music on that tour?
Gotta get cash money somehow
-
teen suicide is touring with say anything and mewithoutyou
excited to see how you guys react to that
-
okay that's a good lineup, especially the undercard
-
Nothing you're saying is accurate. It truly defies all logic that you claim to not like this person that you clearly think and talk about all the time. Give it up man.
lol okay jeff, okay. whatever makes you feel better

I think there's a distinctive difference in most of them. i mean the obvious difference between rea and ts (and why everyone feels like this feels like a rea track) is that in the past rea has been the project to utilize sample loops and higher attention to production while ts traditionally has been the project with a over-the-top, tongue-in-cheek self indulgent approach utilizing rougher recording methods and in general presenting a much more abrupt and disjointed intent. Whereas rea has been the project with contrasting soothing and abrasive computer-created tracks with a more welcoming, ambient atmosphere. This track just feels like rea for all those reasons at least imo.
(would also go farther into the differences of his various projects to say that julia brown seems to utilize a less tongue-in-cheek, poppier/brighter approach [though there is definitive bleed between ts and jb] and that cbkb to me, at least where intent and method were concerned, was an early combination of rea and ts styles [that is to say, rough recordings and sometimes tongue-in-cheek while utilizing loops and a more atmospheric approach throughout])
gotta consider the fact that you need to take his natural progression of musical styles in songwriting into consideration as well. as time goes on everything sounds more and more like REA. look at even the change from the first JB stuff (more like TS) to strawberries (more like REA). we know musically what style he's actually passionate about

I don't know what he's talking about, that secret show was the day I realized he was a shitty person lol. Was always wary of him but my friends and I were disgusted in his behavior up on stage that day. I actually did say hi to him once (and he said hi back), because we knew each other and while we weren't friends, we had no problems with each other at that point. That was still during the era when they were doing a bunch of shows in CP and I was friends with a bunch of the people either in the band or directly related to them.
Also I really wasn't shittalking back there, its a fact that there is very little difference between his projects and it's really not too much of a collaborative effort, just different other musicians performing it. TS was brought back for the name and the value that came with that, he doesn't even like the kind of music he put out back then and the band's he's connected to.
I love how you and your brother out of nowhere developed a vendetta against me. Best part was when we had a pleasant conversation but then a few weeks later saw a tweet he posted about how he was lured into a Casey Whitman show, and I didn't even know he had anything against me lol, never said anything bad to me to my face. So it's pretty funny you're calling me out on being a trend hopping two face

anything Sam does is literally the same
It's all just him
-
hahaha a ruined teen suicide tape gives me the giggs
-
Hasn't leaked, either is or knows someone who got an advance

triple crown tweeted the article, think he's still here
Oh wow I'm an idiot, forgot he was on TCR, was thinking of the Topshelf and No Sleep connections.
-
Only thing I actually like by him is Proper but I love it, hoping for goodness.
Do we know what label this is on? I can see Polyvinyl.
-
the only thread where you will ever read this
lol

Also, here's this - probably the best quality video of CoC playing live that I've ever been able to find on Youtube. And of course, it starts with the best song they ever wrote.
PT. 1
PT. 2
PT. 3
Same guy also filmed the second to last pg99 set at the radio station I worked/book shows at
