Hey I live near Pittsburgh and only know the top 7 billed bands and skull kid, what bands would you recommend to check out? Thanks!
Emperor X is one of the best live bands in existence and one of my favorites of all time. Take One Car are tight with skull kid and good friends of mine, amazing band. Then Pinegrove, Jank, Clique, Brightside, People Like You, Posture, Prince Daddy in that order. Haha

I love Snowing but not enough to go to Pittsburgh and sit through a hundred bands I don't care about.
the other bands are amazing, idk what you're talking about lol snowing is definitely like mid tier of the bands playing and only nostalgia or a lack of knowing the bands would make you think otherwise
-
do you like emo?
-
if snowing is the last headliner (prob not they're prob headlining day 1 because world is will close the fest again) i'd prob leave before actually, mostly due to the awful people that will be doing awful things during that set
good lineup tho

Dads are awful musicians and worse people

Guess I'm going to Pittsburgh. Even though I'd bet a lot of money they'll do a local show too
Derrick said its one time only so idk

Tour dates up, west coast acoustic dates
-
just one show, don't get hopes up for more

I always wish the best for labels, great to see when people do well, it's just hard for me to purchase something from a label who had messed up until they reprove themselves.
-
so are folks buying from Birdtapes because of the nostalgia associated with the name, or is he still putting out great underground stuff? i feel like there's a cultish attachment to labels like his and Orchid Tapes; the quality of the music is a distant second.
Must be the music because nostalgia is him not sending out various orders

Was mentioned earlier, I think, I know I called them out somewhere.
How anyone can trust him with their money is beyond me

Announced new music and world tour

Only thing I enjoy of theirs is the last two songs they put out. Anything with Aaron is pretty bad

In your opinion.
I've personally never heard of Caspian, so I'm going into it with an open mind. I think it caught people off guard considering they used to normally tour with bands like devil wears prada, norma jean, etc.
It's an Internet forum, every single post on here has "in my opinion" as an invisible signature

Doesn't mean the fans will like them lol“One of our favorite things about headlining tours is that we get to bring along bands that we think are awesome and we want people to see,” says Underoath keyboard player Chris Dudley. “Caspian is just a great band. They deserve the biggest audience possible and we think that everyone who comes to this tour is going to be blown away.”
-
Underoath fans will not be pleased

I reviewed them and booked them in early 2012, right as Its Going To Be A Nice Day was coming out. So happy for them, seriously the best dudes. A must see any time they come by.
I missed most of their set that day because I locked my friend's car keys in his trunk and I was fixing that issue haha
