  1. our plant is actually great about pointing spots where we can cut some of our cost out. I don't think they expected them to turn out like that honestly and neither did we. either way -- now we know.
  2. we actually ordered orange inside blue straight-up. then changed the name to something more appropriate when we saw em.
  3. Been trying to pare down my collection a bit so I'm selling a bunch of records. I sold a bunch already but there are still a lot left so I'm letting them go for 2 for $20 for most everything remaining. I am also throwing in a free 7" with every order rather than trying to sell the 7"s, but they're all in the same vein as this stuff! This is the most up to date catalog of what's been sold already: bit.ly/buymyLPs But also pasting it below....holler via here or email me thomas.nassiff at gmail.com! Test Presses – make an offer. 5. Bad Timing Records is honored and ecstatic to kick off a new partnership with Kevin Devine and Favorite Gentlemen Recordings today by announcing the release of the She Can See Me 7" single on November 4. It's available now for preorder and will ship right around, probably a bit before, the release date. The song "She Can See Me" is the only track that Kevin recorded twice, one version for Bulldozer and one for Bubblegum. Kevin will also be playing an intimate NYC show on November 3 at The Hi-Fi to celebrate the release. Tickets are $20 and they come with a copy of the 7" that I'll be handing out at the door myself! Pre-order the 7": http://badtimingrecords.limitedrun.com/products/535021 Pre-order 7" + show ticket: http://www.ticketfly.com/purchase/event/704697 The 7" is housed in what we're calling a double-A-side jacket. Basically the art on the B-side is flipped upside down, so no matter what side of the jacket you're looking at, as long as you're holding the art right-side-up, you'll have the 7" popping out of the right. Like two front covers! I think it's cool. Both covers and the show admat below!
  6. I agree with the above post. When I worked at Paper + Plastick, Vinnie was always very encouraging of bands who wanted to move up in label size...as long as they weren't making a "lateral move" we never had a problem with it. We put out Dave Hause, Cheap Girls, Make Do And Mend, etc, all those three signed to Rise Records, and we were happy for all of them. Sorta just the way it works out, especially if you're signing bands to short-term deals.
  7. Do you really think there HAS to be a direct correlation? Like, are you kidding? Everyone's entitled to an opinion but this is just wrong.
  8. You definitely wanna shoot emily [at] badtimingrecords [dot] com. She'll get you sorted.
  9. looks like you got one of the copies that was claimed but the people never finished their checkout! there were only 2 of those haha
  10. if you added it to your cart after 2:02 you'd get a message saying it wasn't available when you tried to check out. they were all claimed and people were still finishing checking out.
