oh nice. that'll save me $10 on legs. i think i'll roll with this setup. my speakers are that exact same size, so keeping them in the shelf seems like a good idea. was that little platform in the middle extra? yeah, that platform in the middle is a piece I found in the as is section at ikea...I think it was/is a door to one of the cabinet sets.

i would think 6 legs for a 2x4. stick a pair in the middle for good measure. thanks! I put 4 capita legs on my 2x4 and it has held up great. Even stood on it once with no problem but wouldn't make a habit of it, I don't even trust an expedit on the ground to hold that well. I did worry about it at first but now not so much.

finally went through...got one of each... odd thing is it didnt work until I changed the qty of the white to 1 from 2....guess I will just have to get my brother a copy of a blue...not even family will keep me here getting errors for much longer
