Congratulations Kev/Seth! Label moves are hectic, but starting fresh is cathartic.

Waterfront records have a few left in stock too

I contacted my local record store in Melb to see if they could get this in but they said it was deleted off their supplier list?
The retail distributor is MGM.
I know of one particular notable Melbourne store that reportedly owes them (and therefore labels and bands) a lot of money in unpaid sales. Their account has been suspended until paid. If that's true, it may be that store.

CANNOT WAIT

not the best of photos, but we go...

I highly doubt there will be any Hobble (blue) copies stateside – if any webstore was able to place an order, I think we would've arranged something with them instead of dumping it all on Ryan. But if it does happen, I imagine it would be priced to incorporate import fees.
You're right Derek - If it does happen, it'll be so overpriced as it's ONLY going through our AUS/NZ retail distributor. Hence why some of our releases on Interpunk have very high prices and others are much lower. I'd be surprised if it did make it anywhere honestly.
Important to note, because of the numbers in Ryan's group buy, and his continued long term support of the label - I discounted the final total. Ryan (presidential candidate if I'm not mistaken, from previous comments) has passed these savings on to each buyer. You won't do better then that group buy.

Hey Mark -
Records haven't arrived yet, stuck with government customs. I will be shipping out international orders first, on a first come first serve basis.
Most Australian customers will receive their packages just before the release date. Keep in mind I'm just one dude and I do this in my spare time, and work a full time day job. There are almost 200 orders to pack.
All orders will come with an album download, which will be sent shortly before the SEP 16 release date.
Suicide Squeeze, the US record label, have not sent out orders yet.

cheers for the response, i will probably end up ordering it direct from you guys anyway. i always wanted your pressing of tunnel blanket but i only found out about it after i got the suicide squeeze pressing unfortunately
thanks man.
unfortunately our pressing of tunnel blanket came out about 4 months after the suicide squeeze version did. huge complications with the pressing, but all good now.
there are maybe 20 copies left of the 1st press with me? so if anyone's keen, i wouldn't snooze. still a few floating around stores, but only a very small number.

Thanks Derek, it really means a lot hearing that.

• Sines will be released in New Zealand by Shoot The Freak, Australia by Valve, and everywhere else by Mylene.
• Vinyl is exclusive to Mylene. (I'm personally guessing there will probably be 3 variants to choose from.)
Actually a very common arrangement for AUS/NZ releases with overseas label releases. There are very few local vinyl releases, oftentimes the US or EU pressing is shared with AUS/NZ. Because unless handled well, most releases aren't going to sell more than ~100 copies here.
Unless AUS/NZ labels do 250+ pressings and do things smart, it's not worthwhile to do low volume vinyl pressings due to the high per-unit cost. It can be cheaper for the customer to just have the US/EU import, even imported into retail stores and purchased with the stores mark up.
Hence why AUS/NZ pressings of bands from outside our countries are even more rare... and why I'll never make any money.

Nothing we can do about postage I'm afraid, 2LPs anywhere in the country range from about $10-17 postage depending where you are. It's horrible, our postal service is not vinyl friendly.
-
99% sure it'd have to be.
The only colour from the 1st press with Suicide Squeeze is Copper /3000. The only Hobbledehoy colour from the 1st press is Navy Blue /500. Until a 2nd press goes into production from either of us (I am not aware of any), those are the only two variants worldwide.
-
do you distribute to any stores around australia? $16 postage to se qld is killer
All music retail stores around Australia have access to our full catalog via MGM Distribution. So if they don't have it in the store you go to, you can ask them to order it. The RRP will be AUD $35.95 - but just like all things retail, some stores will have it more expensive, some will have it cheaper.

SNEAK PEAK of the Another Language Australian pressing, photo at the pressing plant. Custom Navy goodness (FYI it's semi transparent).Edition of /500

the september 24 they will play in Rome, does anyone know if the will have the new album with them on tour?
They should have the US pressing with them on tour by then.

Is shipping really $16 for an LP within Au? Keen to grab this but $50 to Melbourne hurts
Because this is a 2LP, plus gatefold packaging (that's heavier than normal as well) it doesn't help with postage.
If it's within the same state it's a bit cheaper, but we're based in Adelaide, SA so no luck there for Melbourne. It's often more than $16. In your case, once factoring in the cost of the LP mailer and paypal fees it's actually a lot more. I know it sucks, but nothing we can do about postage.
Stores will have this come late September if you don't want to pay shipping. RRP is $36.

Very close. It's "WHITE ANNNDDD", with the next word being "privileged". I only know this because I read the lyrics on my first listen of the record, and also because that part hit me right in the gut, too. Still does, actually. The shift in drums and those shrill bursts of tremolo guitar are so good. I also agree that it's in my top 10 tracks of the year.

The TWDY Facebook page said it's a possible Euro distro for the copper version rather than a Euro press, but that was a month ago and there's still no news.
My understanding is there is only Suicide Squeeze (World - which will have UK/Euro distribution) and Hobbledehoy (AUS/NZ) pressings for the 2LP.
Holodeck will be doing a cassette version at some point too.

Ryan puts so much effort into these releases. While he presses in some sizeable (but by no means huge) numbers, the prices are very reasonable. Good dude.
