dylan Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 so today was my first day of jury duty ever. i was called in with about 20 people to be on a trial about a kid who accidentally shot another kid. i get picked as one of the 7 who will actually be on the jury along with the one and only joey fatone. he is actually a really cool guy anyone have any cool/interesting jury duty stories? When I was there last, some college-aged guy said that his allergy medicine would impair his ability to make sound decisons. Another lady claimed that she couldn't participate because a relative of hers had recently been arrested (it wasn't even a criminal case). When questioned further, she admitted that her young daughter had been accused of stealing Halloween candy from another student at school... xjustinxschwierx Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 i just didn't go, they called me once and I told them that I couldn't afford to take the time off work because I had just started a new job and if I took a day off of work I lose over $400 in pay(including benefits) so if they wanted to compensate me for my lost wages, I'd be there. the lady was nice and just excused me from it.
