himynameisdk
So since putting speakers on the same platform at a TT is on the same level as buying a Crosley I was wondering if anyone knew of any decent speaker stands for a pair of bookshelf speakers. I have a black Expedit and I was hoping to get the stands to be about the same height as the shelf. Thank you in advance.
ajxd
You don't want the stands to be the same height as the Expedit, you want the stands to put the tweeter at ear level while in your listening position. Give or take. If that doesn't matter to you, then any speaker stand you want that's the same height of the Expedit. Depending on the speaker you have, the company may recommend a speaker height, or have their own speaker stand to purchase. Requiescat
There's some on Amazon I noticed today while browsing other stuff. You could probably even make some out of wood if you wanted. My B&W DM600 S3's came with 2 B&W speaker stands that are fantastic. I wish they were slightly taller but they work just fine.
xxmartinxx
While putting your speakers on the same surface as your turntable isn't preferable, it's not in the same league as buying a Crosley.
