We only keep a max of 3 players, each player kept is assigned the first three rounds. keep 1 player 1st rd pick lost draft rd 2 draft rd 3 keep 2 players 1st rd pick lost 2nd rd pick lost draft rd 3 keep 3 players 1st r pick lost 2nd rd pick lost 3rd rd pick lost that way if you only want to keep 1 or 2 players, you still get chances of getting great players from the draft pool where someone else might be keeping players and thus losing the chance to pick in that round. YOU CAN ONLY KEEP ONE PLAYER PER POSITION. Once all teams have submitted their keepers I will share the google doc with the breakdown of the draft of who will pick when. The way I'm thinking if a keeper is traded then both teams lose a pick cause they both would be keeping. Also trading your second position player of a keeper shouldn't be allowed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Posted August 7, 2014 Author Share Posted August 7, 2014 I personally dont think we should be able to trade players before the draft. i dont want to keep track of all of that, and with new members in the league, I believe trading in the offseason only works if the teams remain the same (ownerwise) from season to season. So this COULD be something to look at for next year, but for this year no trading before the draft. also, do we want to install a rule, starting now, on how many years we can keep a player on our roster? like our MLB keeper league, we keep up to 4 players, players assigned for the first two picks can only be kept for one year, players kept in the 3rd-4th slot can be kept for this year AND next year, but if they're kept for next year they become FA the following year.
