Bladew1ll1s1sdead Posted August 9, 2014 Share Posted August 9, 2014 A friend of mine is making an independent short film and is currently using Gofundme for donations, someone called her today saying Gofundme wasn't working but he'd like to donate $100 to her so he had her sign up for this site to get the donation, I believe It's a scam but I don't know anything about the site. Similar to PayPal in that they have swipers now but the info can be input manually to collect and process payment. I mean, I can post her Gofundme link but I was just asking about the Square service since the guy seemed sketchy. Her goal was $100 and it was met but she's accepting more to help cover renting equipment/feeding the cast/set dressing and all the other production coats.
