cmorgan27
I've got this Band of Gypsys record. Appears to be from the era and not a repress. It has a light green label with no mention of Capitol records with a bold "Sterling Sound Inc" logo at the top and then the album info typed below that on the label. Nothing in the deadwax. Zilch. Also, the album cover says Capitol on the back, yet I see no mention of Capitol on the label. I can't seem to find anyone else with this copy. Is this a test pressing? I've seen those and they don't look like this either. Any Hendrix experts out there know what this is?
caninesapien
Does it have the same artwork as other pressings?
Satan
guaranteed you wont find any hendrix experts here. but, if the rare case there is one, you should probably upload a picture.

I could ask my dad. Not kidding. He probably won't be able to help but still. He has all of the Hendrix records as far as I know. Haven't really had a chance to check em all out. allenh
It was mastered at Sterling Sound and if the text is typed rather than printed then that's interesting but a picture of the label would help a lot. Could be a test, could be a transition label, could be all sorts of things but a picture paints a thousand words etc. etc.
ajhall04
I pretty familiar with most things from the sixties. Pictures help.
Mourning Wood
Rare one of a kind lathe made by Hendrix to be presented to Jack White on his 50th birthday. Worth $3.5 million easy. Nah. Just kidding. Sounds like an acetate.
