Junius - Forcing Out The Silence - which press sounds best?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, so I need your expert opinions here.

I'm looking to pick up this EP, and there are 3 different methods: the original release, the remastered release, and the compilation of FOTS and Blood is Bright.

Do you guys have any word on which pressing sounds the best?

I can get the red compilation press at a good price, but wasn't sure if either of the stand-alone EP versions have a better fidelity to them.

Thanks guys!

Actually, there's only the Self-Titled compilation, and the new remaster. This was originally only released a CD back in 2005. The compilation sounds fantastic -- as does pretty much any Mylene release. I can specifically speak for the red/black swirl variant.

The new remaster also sounds great. I've got the 180g black variant of that. I'm not sure if the US/EU releases used different pressing plants, but it's likely they did. There's a noticeable difference in terms of the quality, it's not just an increase in volume like a lot of modern "remasters".
