hickey
...and I still don't have it. Granted it's coming from Germany, but how long should I wait before filing a claim with paypal? Shit cost me $145.
skumbucket
i've been waiting a while for a package from germany from frank...but not that long. if you're paying that much cash for it i think it should be sent a bit more expediently. file that shit if you still can. cadetapplesauce
what is it, hickey?
frank
did that guy ship via airmail or surface? If he shipped air, it usually takes not more than 7 days to arrive in the US. Surface mail can take very very long, I´m still waiting for a record from Canada that was posted about 7 weeks ago....
hickey
This is the item: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190153563672 I paid 12.90 euros for shipping, that should be air, correct? I should mention that I paid for it the day I won it.

thomas
Everything I've ever bought from Germany has been here in a week, granted I always order from the same guy and he does Airmail with signature confirmation.
wadeboggs
I would say, now.
skumbucket
is that it? for some reason i thought it'd been longer... and yes, if you're paying that kind of money air should be the only option. to cause a man to wait so long for such a treasure is sheer brutality. He could have it sent by airmail letter post for 8 Euro instead
hickey
When I pay that much I expect it to be air.
frank
is that it? for some reason i thought it'd been longer... nope, I checked again. I´ve posted them on friday, october 19th. So you probably should receive them by tomorrow. I was planing to send them out earlier that week, but due to work I never made it to the PO in time
chiefwahoo
The first thing I'd do is try to contact the seller to find out what method he sent it. If he isn't responsive after a few days, open the Paypal dispute since it's been a month. If he did send it surface, I guess you've got some more waiting to do. But let him know you'll open a Paypal dispute after 44 days just to CYA and you'll cancel it once the package arrives. I always give the benefit of the doubt when the seller has good feedback. I recently inquired of a single from the UK that didn't arrive after a month and it turned out that their postal workers had been on strike for 15 days. And sometimes a seller just flat out forgets to mail a package, I've even had that happen on this board. Shit happens, as long as you have a responsive seller, I wouldn't be too concerned. But don't let 45 days pass...
