jhulud Posted March 3, 2016 Share Posted March 3, 2016 IHaveAKnife is comprised of some veterans of the Louisville HxC & Punk scene. Specifically attention is being drawn to vocalist Sean A. Garrison who fronted Kinghorse and at the end of the band and a handful of country-tinged and Americana solo releases (before it was cool for HxC Punk musicians to do it), he left music altogether. Last year he was asked to collaborate with a few fellow musicians and the music bug bit him again and thusly now fronting IHaveAKnife. Their sound is pretty raw and underproduced punk that is reminiscent of Black Flag at their fastest and loudest. At least to me that is what reminds me of. IHaveAKnife have just released their debut 12" limited to 30 copies on "dementia red". Very few left. Sean, since my days in the LxHxC scene way back when. Good people. I'll find out if they'll run more copies for anyone else that may get into them.
