AnimosityDK
Hey. I'm curious if there's any way to check which colour a vinyl from amazon is going to be? I'd really like the black ones of these two http://www.amazon.com/Calculating-Infinity-Vinyl-Dillinger-Escape/dp/B00019PCVW/ref=sr_1_2?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1459877659&sr=1-2&keywords=the+dillinger+escape+plan&refinements=p_n_binding_browse-bin%3A387647011 http://www.amazon.com/Axe-Fall-Converge/dp/B002N1AE8W/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1459877666&sr=1-1&keywords=axe+to+fall Also, I just received some brand new Celtic Frost CDs from an amazon third party seller today, and while both are sealed, there is a big scratch on one of them, is there anything I can do about that? Halo 2
Contact amazon livechat about the scratched CD, they're always very helpful.
GhostTrail
Amazon will almost always sell the retail variant of the record, your best bet is to consult the label's website or Discogs to see what the retail variant is. It will typically be the most recent pressing as well, if there are multiple; however, I have received an earlier pressing from Amazon as well. Just depends how old the stock is. Edit: For Calculating Infinity, you'll likely receive black -- though there may be some first press orange floating around as well, particularly if you buy from a third party. https://store.relapse.com/item/37088 All third party purchases are protected under the same guidelines as a standard Amazon purchase. I'd certainly go to your orders page and take the appropriate action to return/replace it.
Shitty Rambo
You can also ask product reviewers. If you've ever reviewed an item on Amazon chances are a couple potential buyer questions have popped up in your inbox months after the fact. Tommy
There's a couple pictures posted on there from reviewers. They looked like picture discs to me
