chaz725
i still dont understand how this is a solo album.....
thomas
What's there not to understand? Bright Eyes has one or two other permanent members besides him, so that's not really a solo effort.
chaz725
i thought bright eyes was just conor but with steady touring/recording dudes

Two things, first, your avatar deal it so flipping annoying but quite amsuing. Second, does anyone else do anything when it comes to writing and arranging? I always thought it was strictly Connor doing most of the work.

I could be wrong, and probably am.
AsleepOnRocks
In the beginning it was just Connor Oberst, pretty shortly thereafter (Letting Off The Happiness, possibly) Mike Mogis joined, and more recently (I think when they released I'm Wide Awake, and Digital Ash) Nate Walcott joined. I always thought it was strictly Connor doing most of the work. Mike Mogis was more a member of Bright Eyes than Conor ever was. Mogis wrote all the music and production. Oberst only wrote songs. Guy could barely play guitar one his own until his third album.
