I got the 3 red lights of doom after owning the console for about 2 years. The repair service is very efficient...they actually schedule UPS to pick it up from your house. thrillho Posted July 10, 2008 Share Posted July 10, 2008 i just got the "Open Tray Error" a few days ago, and after trouble shooting it's just not worth dealing with it, so glad I got the extended warranty (since I heard about all the problems). I can just walk into Best Buy this weekend and get a new one, good stuff. It's the only time I've ever bought an extended warrenty.
