Here we go again friends. We just posted 900 copies of the Gaslight Anthems "The 59 Sound" LP on blue vinyl, a Side One Dummy Exclusive. The pre-order of the blue vinyl comes with the t-shirt you see above. Due to traffic on the Side One Dummy site, their website and webstore crashed. Afraid that posting their pre-order again today would result in the same outcome, we worked something out and are now handling the remaining copies of the blue vinyl plus t-shirt. We are fucking stoked!

Due to problems resulting in our pre-order yesterday, I suggest a few tips to make all of our lives easier:

1. Please only put the number of copies you are planning on ordering in your cart. A few people yesterday attempted to put really high numbers in their cart in an attempt to see how many copies we had remaining in the store. Doing this creates problems in our store when allocating quantities to other people.

2. We realize you need to get your shirt size to us, just wait til the item is sold out and we will email you for your shirt sizes. And Side One said only sizes Small, Medium, Large, and XL will be available.

3. Relax and make sure you breathe. If it took us 42 minutes to sell 500 copies yesterday, one would guess that we have almost 2 hours to sell 900 copies.

4. Some people suggested that Firefox worked best in our store. Not sure if that is the case for everyone.

5. If it seems as though your order will go through but is taking a while, do not make 4 more orders.

Good luck my friends. This is about as exciting as it gets. I wonder if the folks at Ticketmaster get as excited as I am when they have Hannah Montana tickets go up!
