benchwarmer
My fiance is up for her "free upgrade" from att, and the most affordable/cheapest/free phones all seem to be "refurbs". I was curious if anyone here has ever gotten one or heard if they're shit or not. thanks!
jhulud
When I broke my RAZR for a 2nd time, they gave me a refurbished one...it has lasted longer than the other two combined.

thomas
Anytime I've ever had a phone break, they always give me a refurbished one and I've never had anymore problems with it over a new one.

eddieruckus
they used to give me refurbished sidekicks when mine was under warranty, theyd break seriously almost instantly
mcm1610
I dunno specifics on phones, but with a lot of refurb'ed electronics, they go through ridiculous tests that are often more strict than for new products, so you might be getting a better deal.
